The Great Challenge is back, and this time it will be followed by the Treats Battle. How to play?Click to display
As usual, this contest takes place in two parts:
 The Great Challenge phase: Collect horseshoes by completing in-game objectives.
 The Festivities (Treats Battle) phase: Catch UFOs and decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO.
Note: there are no divine fragments in the daily objectives during this contest.

Unlock Gifts: As you gather horseshoes, you'll unlock awesome gifts at certain thresholds, like game items, fragments and more.
Special Jackpots: Keep an eye out for the free Jackpot and other bonuses that await.
Community Goals: When you claim a gift, you also contribute to a community goal. Achieving this goal means more UFOs for everyone in the upcoming Battle!

Part 2: The Treats Battle
The Festivities will start right after the Great Challenge ends.
Catch UFOs: During the festivities, your task is to catch UFOs in three daily sessions, with the number of UFOs based on your horseshoe collection.
Make Choices: After catching a UFO, decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO.
Bonus Items: Win bonus points by using items earned from horse competitions, friends' help, or your participation in the Great Challenge.
Climb the Ranks: Accumulate points to rise in the rankings, unlocking gifts associated with your rank and those below.

Given how many times we have only gotten 3 rounds, I'm fairly sure that keeping us just below the 4th unlock is a marketing tactic to get people to buy keys

I don't see myself buying the key in the future if nothing is changed. I bought it because I liked the prizes and could afford it, but I'm not going to continue to pay if the goal is impossible.

Im going to be biggest loser. Im keeping all the good prizes. I just won a polar bear and an artemis arrow

Im keeping everything or almost everything i played this event before. You have to spend crazy amount of equus to get top prizes . Thats why even when i bought passes it was my least favorite event to get the divine.

I personally don't mind having 8 hours for each session since it gives a bit more wiggle room, especially when this is competitive (and I'm not on so much lately). Players are more likely to be awake, much more log on, for all three sessions than for all four 6-hour sessions.
 For someone who only wants to keep prizes, though, that would definitely be annoying, but I doubt there's much the international server can do about it other than complain, so...  That being said, I don't care that much about the rankings or prizes, so I'll just use all my UFOs for ranking points and see what I get.  Unless I get lucky with a prize I want first try...

Oh, I wasn't paying too much attention to what that prize bar even said since I barely clicked on that page.  Maybe I was still thinking about that uneventful Lottery?Well, having less UFOs per session might still help people who can only log on once per day if they still wanted to be able to compete in the rankings. Not so much about prizes, however, but oh well, none of the prizes in the list are very appealing to me other than Harmony Packs, I guess. Maybe HoPs?

Gah I resisted getting a chronus timer which id only sell anyway and kept points for ranking aiming for a crown but unlikely i'll get it, I have loads of the other items

I absolutely HATE this event. There is no way to be able to progress in this game if you are not on 24/7. Hello, some of us have jobs and do not live off Daddies money. You don't have to be on 24/7, the ufos come one after the other in 8 hour sessions. If anything, you can try to time it so you can come on just before the current session ends, get the ufos, then catch the next ones when the session starts, repeat.

Please remember that if you don't have a TON of money EACH round to make tons of trades to MAYBE get better prizes. or will not get all of the UFOs (even missing ONE round) your chance of getting anything better than the Ow's HRay is slimmer than slim to none. Don't waste your time or Equus. Make reasonable trades and keep everything. Don't even waste the 1200e a round asking for help

I absolutely HATE this event. There is no way to be able to progress in this game if you are not on 24/7. Hello, some of us have jobs and do not live off Daddies money. It takes a bit of planning ahead but it's still easy to make all three draws. For example my draws end at 5:00 am 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm. What I do (because I work during the day) is just go on in the morning for a minute and do the first UFOs, and then in the evening right before nine and right after nine.

I wonder didn't even think to look or check if everyone started (or at least had the opportunity to) start with the same amount of bonuses?? I did all my horseshoes plus the premium gifts and just feels like I've got enough bonus things to last me max 3 days if that ..?

My draws are at 7a.m, (driving to work already by then) 3p.m. (don't get home for another hour and then 11 p.m. (already in bed)

I gave away a big prize to boost my score, and it was enough to put me in the standing for a Phanes' Egg. Sadly, it did not last long and now I'm waiting to go above for anything other than Medusa's Blood.
 I want the Lottery back next time we do the Great Challenge.
