The Great Challenge

and Festivities

The Great Challenge is back, and this time it will be followed by the Treats Battle.

How to play?

As usual, this contest takes place in two parts:

The Great Challenge phase: Collect horseshoes by completing in-game objectives.

The Festivities (Treats Battle) phase: Catch UFOs and decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO.

Note: there are no divine fragments in the daily objectives during this contest.

Part 1: The Great Challenge

Click to display
Collect Horseshoes: Every day, perform various actions to collect up to 100 horseshoes. 120 if you have bought the Premium Key.

Unlock Gifts: As you gather horseshoes, you'll unlock awesome gifts at certain thresholds, like game items, fragments and more.

Special Jackpots: Keep an eye out for the free Jackpot and other bonuses that await.

Community Goals: When you claim a gift, you also contribute to a community goal. Achieving this goal means more UFOs for everyone in the upcoming Battle!

Premium Key

Click to display
Buy the Premium Key with Passes to access:

Marvelous Premium Gifts: Gain access to exclusive gifts.

Extra Horseshoes: Increase your daily horseshoe limit to 120, helping you to catch up or to get ahead faster.

Buy the Premium Key early for maximum benefit, but remember, it's never too late!

The gifts that have been unlocked but not claimed during the Great Challenge part are automatically given when the Festivities start.

Jackpots

Free - Hermes' Winged

Staff

It allows you to use the Black Market's item of your choice for free, regardless of its value in passes.

Premium - Raven

Companions wake up during your horse's first action of the day. And they fall asleep when your horse ages. Raven gives a bonus of +14 in Trot.

New divine:

Romanticism

Throughout the contest, you can find fragments of the new divine horse Romanticism from the Art History Horses series.

Part 2: The Treats Battle

Click to display
The Festivities will start right after the Great Challenge ends.

Catch UFOs: During the festivities, your task is to catch UFOs in three daily sessions, with the number of UFOs based on your horseshoe collection.

Make Choices: After catching a UFO, decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO.

The value of the UFO's content affects the points you win or lose. You can wait to decide but can't catch new UFOs until you choose.

Bonus Items: Win bonus points by using items earned from horse competitions, friends' help, or your participation in the Great Challenge.

Climb the Ranks: Accumulate points to rise in the rankings, unlocking gifts associated with your rank and those below.

The mobile version is available for this contest.

To avoid compatibility issues, we recommend you play on the mobile version (if you want to play on a mobile device).

We wish you good luck in both phases!

remember you don't have to do the high point obj to get the points. i got the points easily just taking care of my horses. entered a ton of comps inc focusing on gallop comps if the comp type didn't matter. nothing i did to get the points cost money, horses or items

Ugh, not this again. Probably my least favorite promo. I used to go for the premium keys but with no Hestia's Gift it isn't worth paying 600 passes for a new companion. Add in the new shiny divine that isn't worth the passes for the perks in my opinion and I likely won't be putting any effort into this one. Maybe I'm showing my Horse age here but the more divines are dumped into the game the less I want them.

Oh well, I hope others enjoy it more than I do.

Yeah i have to figure out how much divine coat is worth to me especially with background and if i work it for trophy its prizes are unless wishing it gave passes, golden or even vintage apple or a better wandering spirit for me. Wishing i had time and got on its preprod but it would probably still have same perk.

I bought the key, but I probably should have saved the 600 passes for Black Friday.

remember with the battle it's going to be really really really hard and expensive to be at the top of the ranks. if you are new, have low money, aren't on to get every possible ufo don't even bother trying to get in the ranks. just keep the stuff you get.

Why would one of the objectives be to enter the Grand Prix when it's the weekend when it doesn't run?

you do realize you do NOT have to enter the GP. you can any of the other obj. i got the 100 points both days from entering comps and focusing on the 2 comps that we need to win. took me less than 10 minutes each day. yes could have gotten it faster but who cares. when i get the points in the day doesn't matter. as long as i get the points.

Same if i was buying passes i would do anything to get romantism except be on top in ufo battle. I would just stick to opening crowns. Wishing it even had pop arts prize.

i never go for the top prizes in the UFO battle. the amount of equus you have to spend in exchanges to MAYBE get better prizes is utterly ridiculous. and if you aren't going to get all of the UFOs then you have no chance. it's not worth even trying. most i can ever get without spending an absolute fortune is the bottom prize (usually a medusa's blood which i have 40) and MAYBE the next prize. Not at all worth what i would give up in the UFOs. i do spend a little to exchange. but don't go crazy and i keep EVERYTHING i end up getting

First divine in ages that I am not going for, as the perk doesn't interest me, but mainly because I am saving up currently.

Why on earth is Romanticism stuck in a background? Like someone else mentioned, it makes him/her look like a postage stamp..

I love collecting divines but I just am so weirded out by the design of this new one, it just doesn't feel like it belongs on howrse, so I am kind of on the fence about whether or not to add him to my collection, love to hear others opinions on it

They do the same objectives every time and they never take the Grand Prix off for the weekends even though it's not possible. It's never made sense to me, since some of the others (rides, comp wins) switch to another thing daily so you'd think it'd be possible for this too, but no.

From what I know of the Art Divines, they have the worst drop rates on the game and are a pain to work. Apparently Pop Art drops every 4 or 5 months...?

I actually *love* the Urban Legend wanderers and would go for that perk but I'm not looking to spend millions on a Divine that's only going to drop twice a year, it's just not worth it.

I love the design of this divine, much more so than some of the more cartoon style ones we've gotten over the last few years. The frame does make it look more like a painting, but I'm not sure the execution is all there. It does make the divine seem more like an art piece rather than a horse that lives within the Howrse landscape/Ray.

While I like how the frame looks, I would have preferred it to be left off, unless I can find a background that works well with it. Or if the frame itself had been an Ow's Ray background.

I love him so much that I had plans to get him, and even spent some passes on Crowns, but I got cold feet and thought it'd be best to save my passes for upcoming thingsdefault smiley (lol)

He does need background to take over like ows ray. Im probably get in ascent and art history its their only perk snow white has 2 other perks. I like witch potion a little better. Most of the urban legends would scare my older child.
