The Great Challenge is back, and this time it will be followed by the Treats Battle. How to play?Click to display
As usual, this contest takes place in two parts:
 The Great Challenge phase: Collect horseshoes by completing in-game objectives.
 The Festivities (Treats Battle) phase: Catch UFOs and decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO.
Note: there are no divine fragments in the daily objectives during this contest.

Unlock Gifts: As you gather horseshoes, you'll unlock awesome gifts at certain thresholds, like game items, fragments and more.
Special Jackpots: Keep an eye out for the free Jackpot and other bonuses that await.
Community Goals: When you claim a gift, you also contribute to a community goal. Achieving this goal means more UFOs for everyone in the upcoming Battle!

Also, I think we're at a bit of an "agree to disagree" on the pros and cons of including a Grand Prix objective, and that's ok. It works for some players, and for some it doesn't. If some wish to just ignore it when it's unavailable on the weekends, then that's fine, and if some wish to suggest having an objective replace it on those days it's not available, then that's fine too.

15,000 prizes off, that's so sad.
Every single time, the fourth UFO or the fourth draw are but a mirage.

I usually get the premium key in the great challange, but this time I didn't do it. Its not okay to push spending money to finish the comunity challange.

Please lower it for the next time. We were a similar amount off last time, which should have shown that the goal is just too big for us to manage. Or just remove the draws/ufos being tied to the goal and instead do something like free tickets/bonuses per round for the goal we reach. Why do we have to constantly miss out on 25% of the prizes just because too much is expected of us? It's so demotivating to have it happen over and over again. We also shouldn't have to spend just to stand a chance.

Please let anyone who finishes the challenge continue to earn horseshoes to be contributed to the community chest! The problem is that it's no longer based on horseshoes, it's based on prizes earned. It's why we can't continue to add to it after we've earned and collected all the prizes. That's why I suggested a full clear of the horseshoes for the day should result in one extra point once you have finished, as it would really add up if people kept adding to it.

The Treats BattleThe Treats Battle is the second part of this event.  Catch UFOs: During the festivities, your task is to catch UFOs in three daily sessions, with the number of UFOs based on your horseshoe collection.
 Make Choices: After catching a UFO, decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO.
The value of the UFO's content affects the points you win or lose. You can wait to decide but can't catch new UFOs until you choose.  Bonus Items: Win bonus points by using items earned from horse competitions, friends' help, or your participation in the Great Challenge.
 Climb the Ranks: Accumulate points to rise in the rankings, unlocking gifts associated with your rank and those below.

Are the UFOs already going? Its 15:08 here, UFOs should've start 15:00 according to my time, but I havent seen any..

The one time I have oodles of equus to spend to trade for better UFOs is the time I'm saving for the Friday sales
 I wonder how the UFO ranking will fare this time with the sales? If lots of other players plan on keeping their UFOs this time, or playing as normal. I don't plan on trading UFOS, but I'll give up any gift below the Dial in favor of points, as they aren't worth much to be anyway

I haven't seen one either. I'm not a big fan of this event. I can't spend all day looking for ufos so will never make the top tier. I go for the odd small prize and that's about it.

So during the last few seconds, we had about 158500 out of 168000 points to unlock the fourth UFO...

Given that our placement in the standings is time sensitive based on when we catch UFOs, I think it's highly unfair that 20 minutes into the battle some of us have yet to see any UFOs.

the ufos are AWESOME. so excited to see what i get. please remember people your chance of getting the top 3 prizes are very slim. if you don't have a ton of money to trade for better prizes or are going to miss even ONE set of UFOs you are doomed. don't bother even trying. do realistic amounts of trades for what you want and keep EVERYTHING.

Getting your UFOs at the start of a new window is only helpful if you just need to get on really quick to catch them and then leave
