The Great Challenge is back, and this time it will be followed by the Treats Battle. How to play?Click to display
As usual, this contest takes place in two parts:
 The Great Challenge phase: Collect horseshoes by completing in-game objectives.
 The Festivities (Treats Battle) phase: Catch UFOs and decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO.
Note: there are no divine fragments in the daily objectives during this contest.

Unlock Gifts: As you gather horseshoes, you'll unlock awesome gifts at certain thresholds, like game items, fragments and more.
Special Jackpots: Keep an eye out for the free Jackpot and other bonuses that await.
Community Goals: When you claim a gift, you also contribute to a community goal. Achieving this goal means more UFOs for everyone in the upcoming Battle!

Part 2: The Treats Battle
The Festivities will start right after the Great Challenge ends.
Catch UFOs: During the festivities, your task is to catch UFOs in three daily sessions, with the number of UFOs based on your horseshoe collection.
Make Choices: After catching a UFO, decide to keep the gift (and lose points), send it to another player (and gain points), or spend Equus for a chance at a different UFO.
Bonus Items: Win bonus points by using items earned from horse competitions, friends' help, or your participation in the Great Challenge.
Climb the Ranks: Accumulate points to rise in the rankings, unlocking gifts associated with your rank and those below.

I fully disagree with the comments of removing Grand Prix - people it is only 2 days that you have to figure out where you are going to get additional points, my goodness, rides move you along and aging points - well, find the horse that gives them.

I completed today. Got to Waite two days for the second part to playout. I am just going for good bmi because I never had luck getting to the top.

i hate seeing players who have NO chance what soever to get a top prize in the treat battle (for ex very little money or never going to get all of the UFOs) trying so hard to get it and then being frustrated that they can't. People please realize if you don't have a TON of equus or are going to miss a lot (even ONE) ufo cycle the chance of getting anything better than the bottom 2 prizes is slim to none. Do reasonable trades and keep EVERYTHING. trust me you are going to get stuff way better than the 2 bottom prizes (bottom is usually a medusa's blood). remember if you go for a top prize and give everything up all you will get is the prizes you qualify for on the list

Well I’m at 1050 out of 1200. Looks like I’m going to not get the Scale which is a bummer. I started bright and early in the morning on the day this event started and haven’t missed a day so I dunno how I’m behind.. oh well

Why is "enter the Grand Prix" an objective for this every day when it doesn't run on weekends?  Yeah, I kinda wish they would change that objective on the weekends...something still worth the 25 points.

putting in breeding your mare - no comment It was just a suggestion. You can cover more mares in a day than you can enter the Prix, and it's more accessible to most players since the game lets you cover horses from the beginning. They're not going to do anything about it anyway since Howrse quite literally NEVER changes events no matter what players say, but I don't see what the issue is with putting it out there as an alternative.

I am happy to say that they have finally removed the "donate a horse" button if you wouldn't have got the horseshoes for the day, even when finished. I remember having to avoid it in previous versions until I got the horseshoes, so it's much appreciated.

To be honest I've rarely engaged in this event because I've never had much luck with it. I don't like donating my horses, but that's one of the best ways to get horseshoes. All in all, not really my favorite event

Got the Raven and I'm so happy. The prizes this round where a solid 9/10. Would change it to a 10, but I'm still a bit salty on the hestia gift no longer being offered with this promo
