"Chestnut friesians CAN be registered, they jut remain in the foalbook." The foalbook is the basic registry (so that they are recognized as friesians and not some other breed) but the studbook is where fully registered friesians go. Source: Foal Book

You said yourself though, they can still be registered so that they are recognized AS FRIESIANS default smiley :) They're no less Friesians than the ones in the studbook, they have exactly the same genetic makeup apart from the colour, and can still produce black foals that can go on to register in the studbook, go for star, etc.

And if that one was too 'dusty for you, how about this one? I feel including fox Friesians would at least help to sate those of us who want Friesian Sport Horses on Howrse, with all the colours available to equines

I know where you're coming from, don't worry default smiley :p. It just isn't my thing, and I have a feeling a lot of other players would be mad if friesians come in different colors. On a side note, it would be cool if we could crossbreed to get sport horses. I saw a shire sport horse over summer and it was awesome. If only the ideas forum was still around default smiley (8).
I suppose some Friesian breeders would be mad, you expect an elegant black horse but get a chestnut instead XD I feel it might help educate some of the players on colour genetics even if Howrse doesn't use them, though that could also be bad if handled incorrectly. My dream of accurate colour genetics on Howrse is destined to be a flop XP

I met a ShirexHackney cross that was boarded where I ride - the most beautiful horse I'd ever seen to be honest with you. He was bred to be a coach horse but was afraid of the wheels, so they started jumping him. So much scope, and the sweetest temperament, he was a real dream horse <3

Ahem. I now want to introduce my thoughts on the new foals. I think that the bulge under the eye could go away, and the size of the head could go down a bit. I love the detail, thoough. The tail could do with some lifting, and the mane could be a bit more scragly. Also, I think the body could be shorter, and the legs be a bit... Fawnish? The shape the head is excellent, though!

I used to play that game. To the players here: On that game all arabians had the same image. Most drafts had the same image. The shetland was a mini GV. All warmbloods had the same image. Every other horse had the same image. The animations were horrid and they have nothing to change them in the past 7 years. That's right. These images have been around for seven years, and despite player complaint they are they same. Be glad for what we have here.

These all look amazing... There are, admittedly, a few that look a bit off, but most are a very great improvement.

Yuppers
BreezeCatcher - Darn, I was hoping they would. Their heads are too big and their coats look smudged or blurred.

Same here. If anything, they need to be changed more than most of the other breeds.
BreezeCatcher - Agreed. They look like they're from V2.

Speaking of which...these coats are a major improvement from V2, so if you don't like them, I get it, but just look up a picture of the old ones. Then you might like them more. default smiley :)

From what I've heard they are. I don't think they have ever been updated.

Are they going to change the Friesian coat? I never liked the old ones, so I hope they get changed.
