I really don't like the new thoroughbreds coats.. My foals now look ugly in my own opinion default smiley :(

Yes, it is perfectly fine to complain. That is without the insults many players like to use. With comments that say " I hate the new new GV's! They are so ugly! The artists don't know what a horse looks like" won't help anything. It is the intelligent comments that actually pointed out issues that brought about the changes. It is good to keep that in mind when posting complaints.

On other note. The new GV coats look amazing!

Yep, they probably look more realistic. (In the laws of general horses, not just that breed, I'm not exactly an expert)

Just a quickly done edit on how the Friesian could be improved - I couldn't fix the mane and tail coloring, but the purpose of this was more for body shape than any mane/tail/feathering/color edits

The image shown in this spoiler tag is FAKE and has been edited from the most recent Friesian coat revealed - it is meant to illustrate anatomy differences only.


In the edit, I moved the front legs and shoulders back, trimming the chest back as well, enlarged and lengthened the neck, adjusted the head's angle, shortened the ears, properly shaped the crest, reshaped the back and moved the withers forward.

I absolutely adore the new Tenneesse Walker and Marwari coats! Can't wait for them to appear on the dutch server where I play more often. These coats really give me a reason to pick up my game again. Just because they look so pritty ^^

That depends on where you got that image. There is one circulating that people are saying is an official Howrse edit, but was actually just one a player edited to show how the coat could be improved upon. Where did you get that image? If it's from a good source, maybe it is a real change! default smiley :d

Great news! I breed Mustangs and Mustang Unis so I was gutted to see the (old) new coat. Good to see that they are taking on board some of the constructive criticisms of the players default smiley :)

I love the new mustang coated. They look wilder and more like real mustangs than the old ones did. The only new coat I don't like that much so far is KWPN. Their manes and eyes are weird.

I though that was one of the best so far. I wasn't fond of the old one's face. It seemed a bit flat almost.

NMhorselover, I think the old ones were kind of weird as well. I never liked the KWPN coats. But I love the Highland ponies. They're adorable.
