Are they going to change the Friesian coat? I never liked the old ones, so I hope they get changed.

The curve at the crest of the neck is MUCH better though the neck seems a little thin as a result and they are still not black. I know Friesians can be chestnut and i sort of wish horse would have like .1% chance of getting one or something but as a while the breed is represented for being a black horse. So I wish they could make the new coat more of a rich black.
BreezeCatcher - Well, then that would make sense. default smiley ^)

If the "improved" Gypsy and Frisian coats are real, then they are much better and lovely default smiley (l)

On that note, though, any one know what the paints will look like?

They are some what of a "main" breed of mine now, for my Origin challenge, and I'd quite like to know what to expect them to be like.

Wow, the curve is much better. I think the mane just needs to be lengthened and the colour changed and it will be good to go.

To anybody that doesn't like the new coats...

You can keep your opinion, I'm not asking you to change, but aren't they an improvement from when we had these. These aren't bad graphics either, but they have obviously gotten more realistic.

Putting them in spoilers, because the pics are big.

Personally I like the last pic. They're anatomy was bad but they're so cute!

it is much better though maybe a bit too much looks a bit on the thin side with that great big body but it is an improvement. Color is a must i think somethings still not quite right.

I really like the new Gypsy coats, more realisitc. But the old ones definitely had more character I find, so I still like the old ones better!

I really love all the new coat changes, but gah- I am having so much trouble coming to terms on those Knabstruppers. I love this breed very much so I am very familiar with their distinct breed features. And Howrse has the face all wrong >__>
I don't know if suggestions apply to this topic or not, but if it does...

Howrse please add some adjustments to the face... Knabstruppers have long faces that kind of curve downward at the muzzle. If it can at least be stretched out more, that would be lovely. Their faces are kind of like the way the unchanged standardbred coats are

By Retired breeder, 5th April 2014 01:22:39
Still think the Friesian mane needs to be extended by a lot, including the tail. It needs to be thicker, maybe?

Maybe they could add a longer, bushier mane, and perhaps more feathering as well.
