howrse? what the literal heck?! seriously not only do half of the proposed horse coats look appalling to the point of sickness, but you have to introduce those horrible ewe-necks? on top of that they have to be standing INCORRECTLY, ever heard of standing square - obviously not.
these need some serious work on the confirmation of a majority of these equine disgraces... oh does the mustang have strangles or what -.-

I think equipment would be good if there is no special coats as GA, 5thE, PC and also would be good to have option to choose if owner want to display it on horse or not - in every horse page!

The equipment won't be visible on special coats, and you can choose if you want it t be displayed..

I think it's a great idea. If you have a horse with no special coat, tack would make it more unique!

I like most of the new coats, and I think most people will after a while. Nobody wanted these coats either but now they don't want to lose them

When Howrse made the poll, most people wanted new coats, and now they are complaining.
I like the new ones better, but they ruined the GV coat. :P

I really hope that we will get to vote on the new coats. Like a polling system. Because that would mean there's no hope for the new Quarter Horse, Gypsy Vanner and Mustang. Ughh, they are just so ugly!

I think the Mustangs were so much better before the current ones, when they were galloping. The Friesians are better as they are now, Gypsy Vanners are better now then the new ones. I prefer the current Quarter Horse to the new one. The new Thoroughbred isn't very impressive.

I do think that the new Akhal-Teke is an improvement, I also prefer the new Marwari, Arabian, Curly, Shetland, Nokota, Paso/PSH/Barb/Canadian/Lusi, Hano/KWPN/Irish Hunter/Holstiener/R.Don, Brumby/Icey, Hackney/Morgan/TW/Standardbred, Knabstrupper, Trakehner, Newfoundland, and Welsh/Aussie/Connie/Quarter Pony. The Fjord is pretty much the same and I like it.

We voted if we wanted new coats + the use of tack. Like they made these coats specifically to fit with the tack. It's meant to be released within days, there will be no more polls, we made our choice.

I don't particularly like those new 3 coats, but the Quarter and especially the mustang are better than the old ones... The old mustang is horrible. It doesn't look like a horse in my opinion ._. It's an improvement at least. The GVs on the other hand ..... No.

I also think that might be changing the coats for the foals too.
There is no point of keeping some when they don't look like the adult versions.

Very glad the lottery is supplying me with tons of GAs and Harmony packs...In the first year or so I was on Howrse, I never had a GA horse, except for a few I bought for comps that already had them. I didn't like some of the current v3 coats when they came out, almost all my horses have GAs on them now. Evidently that will not change with v4 if this is how they truly end up.

I do not like the idea of having to spend more passes just to be able to be competitive, I do not like the visible tack and did not vote for it. I do remember voting on the supposed Quarter Horse coat, though, and the one I voted for is NOT the one we are now seeing.

Exactly! I am being completely honest when I say this. If all this goes though as is, or if this more tack thing goes through. Thats it. Im done. I am sick of the useless changes to howrse. And these coats. I swear to god if howrse lets these through I am going to lose all respect for the game and I am gone. Those are not good horses, they are sickly, ugly and look NOTHING like they should. My sister has done better. I drew a better Gypsy vanner by drawing it from a picture WITHOUT looking at the paper. This is sad, and in my opinion disrespectful to horses. The more I look at them the more disgusted I am. Especially with the Quarter horse coat. Its about to drop dead like my neighbors Quarter did from colic and old age last year. And whom ever drew these, you seriously need to pay attention to proportions because some of the heads on these 'horses' are way to big. And the lack of fluff on them...... No... Just.. Not horses. Im done. Im out of words to say that can describe how I feel about these coats without getting in trouble.

Just like the current coats. Take a close look at them. They're even worse.... But you get used to it.... They don't look like the breed either, (well the fjord and gypsy vanner to some degree) but none of the current ones are star quality drawings either.

Like look at the current mustang. They're absolutely ridiculous. The Akhals? Same thing. The current hanoveranians? The head looks like it's been broken off at the middle. The trotters head is too square. Spanish horses? Just look at the legs. Look at the legs on any breed. The old Fjord legs? Like one of the legs on it needs to be twice as thick.

The old coats have even more problems than the new ones.. The proportions are even more off on them.. But it just matters to the new ones? Nah. I would've expected more but it's an improvement. The one who made these coats probably doesn't handle horses on a daily basis and probably do more graphics than just these horses.. It takes a long time to master drawing something. The person might never even have seen some of these breeds in real life etc.

it's not just been ruined, it's been butchered and botched to the point where it barely looks like a horse! okay, that's a bit extreme. it barely looks like a trained horse. it looks like it should be out roaming. it looks like a savage horse!

That's wjy we are kindly advising howrse to get people to do the designs, who have actually seen real live horses in all these breed, or send out the designer to a horse farm with a certain breed and make them draw the coat there.

People! Stop complaining! It was like this the last time the horse coats changed! Its gonna happen, we all voted for it! There is nothing we can do now, except learn to deal with it!

The DA's will not change, they will stay just as they are, no worries
