Thank you |
Lily C.-yep, lessons and WoY are all important when making a skiller...
Has anyone done a paint/appy? I just was given a very nice colt, and was wonding what comps I could expect him to do well in. here he is

Looks like barrels, gallop and XC is what it should be. stamina, gallop, dressage and speed look great

Does anyone think an Arab/Hano cross would be good? It would probably make a good Xcountry horse, or it could up the stamina in the long-term if you bred it back to a hano. I've ben thinking of doing this once I finish training my Arab and hano.
|
I would think an arab/hano showing as an arabian would do outstanding in Arabian specific jumping comps as the jumping will be much higher than normal arabians

right now i am breeding a horse, which is a irish hunter paint cross, with a hanoverian. i hope they will do well in Xcountry, jumping, and gallop events. possibly even some barrel racing. my plan is to eventually make a cross that does well in all categories (but i know that it is going to take forever! going to be a chore!).

I'm going to start crossing Hanos and Irish Hunters to make a good jumping and xc horse. My main breeding will still be hunters, but this will be a little project.
Anyone have hano/hunter crosses? |

Right now I have succesfully achieved an Appaloosa/Arabian. I will then breed the horse with a Aussie and get an Aussi/Appaloosa/Arabian mix, if it works out! Lol

I'm loving the Hano and Friesian mixes. I still need to skill the two of my guys though. I'm crossing my fingers for a 24 e EC. |

I want to give cross breeding a shot. All I have ever done was breed pure Welsh ponies then I got this trade horse named cream (Country Lover if you are looking for her) and she was this realy great mix of Quarter Pony and Nefoundland Pony ad I decided I don't want this horse to be a trade horse for the rest of her life. so I kept her and I am doing rides with her. now I am attached to Cross breeds. I want to start breeding them now! anybody that can help me get started please pm me.
