It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world  Curious about NIB horses? Want to know what a NIB horse is? You've come to the right place! What is this topic for? NIB enthusiasts to find each other and help one another progress in their respective games. Otherwise, you may use this topic to help others learn about NIBs, share your experience, and find friends that breed NIBs  Please do not use this topic for advertising horses for sale. The NIB FAQ: What is a NIB horse? A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees. Are there green star NIB horses? These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth. **Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for! Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses? Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way. How can I get involved with NIB breeding? It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. hey all! So, I'm a returning player after being gone for many years but now that I've returned I've chosen to mainly breed Thoroughbreds but I want to keep them all NIB. Since I'm technically "new" after returning and missing a lot, it's hard not having those connections or teams to finds skillers and higher GP studs to breed with. I have my highest skilled mare that I'm looking to breed, but the only public coverings I have to choose from would be her grandfather. and his skills and GP are lower than hers so I honestly just don't have an option at this point. I'm not sure if you're able to publicly ask for reserved coverings, but again its hard to find a good stud to cover my mare at this point without asking.
If anyone has somewhere to direct me in the right direction or if I have found the right place, I'd love to make connections so I can continue my NIB journey and produce more skillers. Thank you all in advance! my inbox is open (: |

Definitely happy to see this thread reactivated again. I had a six month break from the game and coming back to try to figure out how comps and stuff work. Testing it out with some 350GP Standardbreds. I can't wait to get back to my Morgans and Trakes again though.

How are you all doing.
RL is taking a lot of my time lately, and haven't had time to play a lot. Was checking sales just now as per usual looking for more old GP Shagya, RG Russians and RG Welsh. Is it just me or has it gotten way more complicated to locate the RG's? Old GP are usually easier to spot, but the RG's just .... Wish howrse would give us a search function to locate those foundation horses

It certainly has become difficult to track down RGs, especially since they seem to be going up quicker lately. Maybe that is just me though. I try to keep my eyes open and snag whatever I can, hoping to pass them along to others that need them.
Anyhow, slow and steady on all of my projets. Trying to chip away seems to work better for me than just focusing on one grouping. I like to shake things up

Still me, but I also thought the thread was gone so I hadn't checked the forum for a while. I generally wait until I have a few submissions to send before contacting a mod to update the list, and after the thread vanished I deleted the draft with info from the previous weeks. >.< So I've a bit of catching up to do, but will have a list sent off later today.

I'm still trying to get back into the game and slowly sorting through my hoard of sooo many breeds. Too many breeds in some cases. I can't wait to get back to my Trakes and Morgans.
