Thank you - I tried that, failed miserably (I'm only good messing around with URLs to get images of Divines and the like)

Does anyone know what BMIs are used to make candy in the workshops for the Halloween Promo? I cannot find any posts mentioning the making of candy except how many each workshops make.

I had one - but it seems to have gotten lost...So I'll make a new one;

Click to display
All Candies produce the same amount based on Workshop:

Small = 4 candies
Medium = 8 candies
Large = 12 candies

It takes 48 hours (2 days) to craft Candy - regardless of type and Workshop size (the Artisan employee reduces the time to 1 day, 14 hours)

Like with regular crafting - the larger the workshop, the more items it takes to craft them...These are the numbers for the SMALL workshop:

Ghost
1x Golden Apple

Eyeball
1x Horn of Plenty

Teeth
1x Piece of Cloud
20x Apples

Brain
2x Croesus Fortune
50x Apples

*For a Medium workshop, double the amounts. For a Large, triple the amounts.

Hello. I need some help making a decision. I don't buy passes, therefore getting a divine in these promos is next to impossible for me with how it is. I've been saving up passes for a while and now I have 11 of them. I want to know if it's possible to get the divine out of either this promo or the next one. If anyone knows which one id have a better shot at, I would really appreciate it. Thank you

There is no pass calculations that I've seen for the Trick or Treat event beyond rough guesses of the traditional amounts between 10 to 50+ passes.

Pinata wise - many of us have found that one needs between 20 - 25 passes (even less if they have HOPs stored in their inventory for use) to complete the event (assuming you also get in all your regular clicks, friend clicks, and do objectives strategically).

OF the two - I would say getting Zaldia from the Pinatas is more likely at this time (Especially if you can get some HOPs from the Exchanges, or a Xanthos) BUT it's not a guarantee, so you could use your passes and still end up Divine-less.

@Shorah Do you think it would be possible to complete the Pinatas promo without using passes if we do all objectives, do all the clicks and ask friends for help?

Unless your 'without passes' includes the use of Horns of Plenty you have in your inventory - nope.

There's 1 objective that requires the use of a Pass - so that right there would be a stop.

Anyhow - that aside, all my calculations - without the use of Passes, Diamonds, inventory HOPs outside of objectives that require it, with all friend clicks, normal clicks, and objectives done strategically - I found it was impossible to make it past Pinata 16 *For those who have seen my 'click guide' this is reflected in it*

If they are fast enough to click the banner when it shows up, they get a spot on Preprod. If a VIP misses the banner - they need to wait for

I really don't like the fact that we have to use up our BMIs to craft candies for this next promotion. I certainly don't want to part with any GAs or HOPs, and for newer players this will be near impossible since they most likely won't have a big stock. I just hope that we get enough candies from doing the tasks each day (logging in, comps, I think grooming is one?) that I won't have to craft very many.

Shorah, how many candies do we have to give each child? Two? Thanks!

You don;t have to per say;

From what I've seen - Candies of all kinds can be gotten by all means (logging in, winning comps, grooming horses, and flat out buying with Passes)...though I believe the 4 workshop ones (Brain, Eyeball, Ghost, and Teeth) might be rarer candies to get.

Though without using the Workshop - you get 23 candies a day (15 from logging in, 4 from grooming horses, 4 from winning competitions)

You can also win 2 additional candies every day from the Direct and Auction flash sales for a total of 25 candies.

Though until this event rolls on more - and we get more information, it is impossible to say for sure if there will be enough candy to beat it without needing to use passes/craft (as it stands, it seems one will need to use Passes at some point to complete the event and get enough points)

And yes, from what I've seen - each child only wants 2 candies.

The ones I got;

This one - which made a Witch fly around my screen - made it impossible to scroll down, and I found I could not click on anything when it was active:

The other one turned my cursor into a Ghost - again, this preventedme from scrolling, but with a lot of difficulty, I found I was able to click on things:

In both cases, refreshing the page made the trick go away. There might be other tricks, but these are the ones I've seen.

Trick or Treat Event!
We introduce a brand new contest where the objective is to give candy to children. If they are not happy with the candies they receive, they give you tricks!.

Obtain candies

There are 12 varieties of candies, with different degrees of rarity.

You can get candies :

► With your first connection of the day (15)
► When you groom your horses (4 max)
► When you win competitions (4 max)
► In the flash sales (one per day for each sort of sale)
► Making candies in your workshop
► By buying them with passes
► By buying pack in the Black Market (special operation, not available all the time)

Make candies in your workshop :

You can make certain candies in your workshop. The ingredients are different black market items. You can only use the ones you have in your inventory.
A candy production lasts 48 hours. So it is not possible to launch a production if there is less than 48 hours before the contest finishes.

Receiving the visit from children:

►You have 5 visits a day at the beginning of the contest. Each day the number of children who can visit you daily increase from 1. It means that if you connect on the game every day during the contest you will be able to receive more than 20 children a day.

►The children arrive all the day long. You have 36 hours to give a child candies, afterwards they will go away. There is a timer on each kid for you to know how long you can offer them candies.

►You can receive more visits of children by ringing a bell to call them. You can buy bell rings with passes. The children who arrive with the bell rings are more patient and stay until you give them candies (or the end of the contest). So there is no timer on those children.

Offer candies to the children

When a child is waiting for candies, you can see which ones will please him the most.

►Each child asks for 2 candies.

When you give candies to a kid, he gives you satisfaction feedback. You receive points corresponding to their satisfaction level: more he is satisfied, more points you will get. Those points will allow you to get gifts (see later).

If the kid is less than 50% satisfied, he will make you a trick.

Get gifts

With the points you receive from the children, you can get gifts and legendary tack to get Bucephalus. Each gift has its price. You can see them on the contest page.

Tricks

When a kid is not happy, they make you a trick. We will not describe them to you; you can be surprised as you discover them. default smiley default smiley :)

Black Market

At certain moment during the contest you will be able to buy Halloween Packs in the Black Market.

Those packs contain:
► 2 rings bell
► 12 candies
► Common objective

Give candies to children to unblock chapters from the Bucephalus story!

Here are some screen shots of the event:

A kid asking for some candy.

A kid after being given the candy he asked for.

The prize list *please note, Bucephalus' Tack is shown in a different section

Points tracking bar and where Bucephalus' Tack is shown

~*~

Bucephalus is a legendary horse.

You can obtain him when you give the 5 pieces of Bucephalus's legendary tack to one of your horses, or when you purchase a Bucephalus pack.

On most days, you will not be able to stroke him, but on certain days he will allow you to. When stroked, he gives a Dressage +3 bonus to all your horses until the next daily update. This bonus does not stack.

When Bucephalus is obtained via the Bucephalus pack, you can stroke him more often.
Game:
provides a Dressage +3 bonus to all your horses (until the next daily update) when stroked
VIP:
Bulk horse registration in equestrian centers.

This horse cannot be sold.

So while that wouldn't happen for a release...that is a possibility for if they do a re-release event and put the Legendary Horses (or their tack) in the Horn of Plenty, Titan's Challenge, or Golden Fleece.

Do you think we will ever be able to sell a Vintage Apple horse?
Retired breeder wrote:

Probably not for a few reasons;

1. Players might try to pass them off as Diamond Apple Horses to unsuspecting/unknowing players

2. It could potentially cause a devaluation of Diamond Apple horses (especially those who opted to just change the color of their horse (ex. I know a few people who changed their White Arabian into a solid Black one)

3. In my opinion - it would ruin the uniqueness of the Vintage Apple - as there are probably a lot of players out there who would hoard these horses, limiting others from getting them.

But all we can do is wait and see...Personally though, I hope they remain unsellable (and the item remains unable to be traded/gifted/sold beyond the power to use it as a Custom UFO)

Halloween is always on October 31st - but that doesn't mean that Howrse's Halloween event would start/end on that date [I recall Halloween events that started towards the end of the month and ran to about the middle of November]

.. so.

Click to display
For the Halloween promo, you end up getting a maximum of 204 children. To complete the promo you need 275. In the packs right now, you get 15 candies and 2 children/bell rings for 1 pass. In order to get 275 bell rings before the promo is over, you need 71 extra children, and with the packs those would cost 35.5 passes. 35 passes.. not including buying candy.

But, without the packs, and just buying bell rings, it's 3 bell rings for 1 pass. That'd end up being 23.6 passes, which is cheaper, but the packs would be cheaper for candy considering the specific candy you need.

Whoever said that they finished this promo with 10 passes on equideow, eh, well, I don't know how they did it.

Unless Howrse lowers the amount of points you need for the last piece of tack for Bucephalus, you definitely without a doubt need to spend at least 23 passes. Not including candy.

25 x Carrot seeds
1 x Bell boots
1 x 2** Classical Bridle
1 x Apollo's Lyre

500 Points in the overall ranking
1 x Black 2** polo wraps

1 x 2** Black and white Western saddle cloth
1 x Horn of Plenty
20 x Aging point
1 x The Bewitched Pumpkin

Along with three of Bucephalus' tack; the saddle pad, saddle, and bridle. At 22,000 points, you get the Seal of Apocalypse and 10% energy. Gifts from 22,000 and onward, which requires you to use passes, are:

1 x Hestia's Gift
25 x Manure
1 x Magic Hat
1 x Hypnos' Blanket
1 x Morpheus' Arms
1 x Achilles' Heel
1 x Themis' Scale

and Bucephalus' polo wraps and ear bonnet. Not too bad prizes without spending passes, but still, you still need a lot of passes to get the rest of Bucephalus' tack.
