Preprod is a site for Howrse to test out possible new additions or promo's to the game.
Mod's, Admin and (I think?) certain players who get invited get to use this site to try out things. It's just like any other Howrse server, but only for certain people.

With Bucephalus' VIP perk of Mass Boarding:

I was only able to find Reserved Boxes when boarding just a Single horse (be it in my Center, or someone else's)

I was only able to find my own Center if the boxes were not reserved, and I had enough for however many horses I was trying to board. (I had to search for my center/hope it showed on the page when boarding)

For those concerned about how Mass Boarding could impact their center's Prestige/Lessons if they have a skill requirement...

What centers I could see to board horses in was limited by the skills of the horses I was trying to board (ex. 5 horses with 2000 skills, 1 horse with 500 skills - none of the Centers that showed had a skill requirement of over 500 points.) So the Center's shown will either;

A. Have no skill requirement

OR

B. Have a skill requirement that is less than that of the horse with the lowest skills in the set

Preprod is simply the Test Server. It is a copy of the main game - except new features have been added to it for testing purposes (ex. new promotions, changes in game mechanics (such as the new Private Message System that's coming this month).

If you are lucky, you will receive an invite to join the Preprod server to test out these features. They are sent out to all levels of players (So new and old, top breeder and just for fun, Normal accounts and VIP accounts*, etc) - so you never know if you'll be lucky enough to be chosen or not.

*Yes, VIPs have a perk that allows a limited number of them to be guaranteed Preprod access [as there are some spots 'reserved' for them (this is done in the form of a banner they must click once it shows up I've heard)]. However, if a VIP misses the banner - they need a PM like anyone else.

Pass wise (as you can use Passes to get extra Candy/Children to give the candy to) - most calculations are coming up with this as needing between 20 to 40 Passes to complete the event - depending on one's luck of getting candy they need by 'free methods', if they can craft some or not, and what the children ask for.

If you are honestly wanting to know how many pieces of Candy in general this would take...this is one of the better calculations I've seen (though I can't guarantee if it is 100% accurate or not - take it with a grain of salt:

So it takes 275 children with 100% satisfaction to get everything. Each requires two candies, so that's 550 candies, assuming no duplicates (which we KNOW won't happen).

Day 1 - 5 kids, 23 candies + 2 candies

Day 3 - 7 kids, 23 candies + 2 candies
Day 4 - 8 kids, 23 candies + 2 candies

Total = 180 kids (65% of needed) and 345 candies (63%) free + 30 candies from the Flash Sales (5%).

I don't see how " It means that if you connect on the game every day during the contest you will be able to receive more than 20 children a day." unless the contest is going to be longer than 15 days? Or there's something I've missed?

*Keep in mind, Preprod testing sessions are shorter than actual promotion run periods (ex. the Pinatas on Preprod were only 14 days - here, they are the standard 19 days

Prepod closes Oct 19 and I would expect the next promo to start then or within a few days later.default smiley :)

That seems to be the case.

I authorized shared management of ShorahNagi to ShorahTest (an account that I use on Preprod to test things from a new player's perspective (you are allowed to make another account on the Preprod server for this purpose *only on Preprod is multi-accounting legal*))

Well, when I went down to the bottom of the page (where the option to move horses in bulk is for VIP/Pegasus account holders) and the option of "Board at Equestrian Center" was missing from the list.

As I advised in the original posting of this - I recommend using HOPs *mostly those you might have in your inventory* early on for a few reasons:

1. Gain access to the 'harder' Piñatas sooner (thus, more time to work on breaking them)

2. Gain access to additional objectives to make later Piñatas easier (ex. more points per click)

3. Allows you time to gather additional HOPs/Passes to be used later in the Event if you need more help to break them.


Myself, my plan is to wait until Sunday night to use HOPs (if I can restrain myself default smiley :p) - this way, I can make sure I've gotten in as many normal clicks as I can and gotten as far as I can.

Thank you! And heh, yeah. I've opened two HOPs so far to give myself a little boost, but now I'm going to try and wait until Sunday and then the next round of them so I can still have a few in my inventory for the next promo.

Hope I am posting this in the correct forum. I have just used my HOPs, diamonds and passes for this promo. I am currently on pinata 14 with 200 points on it. I have 6 friend requests waiting and my next set of regular clicks is in 3 1/2 hours give or take. Is it likely that I will be able to finish now with no further passes or HOPs?

My sincerest apologies for not figuring it on my own but tomorrow IRL we say farewell to 4 of our old mares who sadly have come to the end of their journeys in this world. This is on the heels of losing a great, young mare to a tragic pasture accident last week. Needless to say I do not trust my mental faculties enough to be convinced I will accurately tally up the math involved.

My thanks for any help you can give. And please feel free to let me know if this needs to move to another forum.

if you use them now, you will get to the objectives that speed up things faster.
You could use what you think is about the minimum number number of hops now and if you still need points at the end, use more then. default smiley :)

All I have seen when people try to hide something on their page was to make text colour and text background colour the same. People then have to highlight it to see it.
