And now, it was my turn to sit down and see what I got with the M_ H_:

Out of 25 uses - my final results were:

12 Enchanter
7 Fairy
6 Ugly Witch
0 Shaman

So based on this and some other results I've seen from here and Preprod - the Rarity from Common to Rare seems to be:

Enchanter
Ugly Witch*
Fairy*
Shaman

*these two seem to be pretty close on which one is rarer, but based on the numbers I've seen - the Witch is a little more common than the Fairy which is why I put it first.

Sorry if this is obvious, but how do you get onto the test version? Do you just get picked? It's just because I have seen some normal players on UK say they are on it and post proof and all.

So I was bored and tested 110 M_ H_'s and these were my results:

So my order of rarity would be:

Enchanter
Ugly Witch
Fairy
Shaman
(The same as Shorah)

However, for me, the Enchanter didn't take #1 spot until the 80th Magic Hat - the witch was the most common coat until then and even had a lead of around 20 above the Enchanter at one point.


I'm also proud to say, I have more passes on here than on preprod now! default smiley (lol)

So, this new BMI has time limit of keeping it in inventory, but then you use it on your horse it does not disappear after 90 days, does it?

Yes, you just get picked by the Howrse team - there is no special requirements, so Normal Players, Mods, etc...all have a chance. Though VIPs also have a slightly increased chance - in that there's a perk they can take that - when testing opens - gives them a banner to click. If they are fast enough to click the banner when it shows up, they get a spot on Preprod. If a VIP misses the banner - they need to wait for a PM like anyone else.

The Magic Hat allows you to personalize the coat of your horse.

There are 4 personalization options that are chosen randomly when you put the item on your horse:

Enchanter
Evil Witch
Fairy
Shaman

► Each coat is animated.
► When available in the Black Market, it costs 2 passes.
► If you get this item in your inventory you have 3 months to use it.
► You can give the item to horses from 18 months.
► It can be given to all horses except the Donkeys, Divine, Legendary and Wild horses.
► It gives your horse a +5 bonus in each skill.

What are the effects of each coat?

Enchanter: when a horse wears this coat, you do not use food when you feed it. (All of your horse's food becomes free.)

Evil Witch : when your Evil Witch horse participates tin a competition, it brings a penalty of 3 points on each skill to every other horse. It does not work on the Grand Prix.

Fairy: the Fairy horse gets a +5 bonus on each skill.

Shaman: the appearance of a Shaman horse changes every time he gets older. It can get:

► Its own coat
► One of the other Magic hat coats
► One of the Bewitched Pumpkin coats (except the ghost)
► One of the Seal of the Apocalypse coats (except Pestilentia)

The Shaman horse has the advantage of the coat it wears. If it gets its own coat it does not receive a special advantage.



The Magic Hat cannot be used in conjunction with another special coat. If you give your horse a Golden Apple and then a Magic Hat, your horse will lose their Golden Apple.

*Referring to winning it as a prize from the Halloween promotion. If you buy the item/give it to a horse - the horse will keep the coat forever!

Nothing. The Ponies showing in the Halloween images are just there as 'flavor' - because these trick-or-treaters are all from the Pony Club.

Trick or Treat Event!
We introduce a brand new contest where the objective is to give candy to children. If they are not happy with the candies they receive, they give you tricks!.

Obtain candies

There are 12 varieties of candies, with different degrees of rarity.

You can get candies :

► With your first connection of the day (15)
► When you groom your horses (4 max)
► When you win competitions (4 max)
► In the flash sales (one per day for each sort of sale)
► Making candies in your workshop
► By buying them with passes
► By buying pack in the Black Market (special operation, not available all the time)

Make candies in your workshop :

You can make certain candies in your workshop. The ingredients are different black market items. You can only use the ones you have in your inventory.
A candy production lasts 48 hours. So it is not possible to launch a production if there is less than 48 hours before the contest finishes.

Receiving the visit from children:

►You have 5 visits a day at the beginning of the contest. Each day the number of children who can visit you daily increase from 1. It means that if you connect on the game every day during the contest you will be able to receive more than 20 children a day.

►The children arrive all the day long. You have 36 hours to give a child candies, afterwards they will go away. There is a timer on each kid for you to know how long you can offer them candies.

►You can receive more visits of children by ringing a bell to call them. You can buy bell rings with passes. The children who arrive with the bell rings are more patient and stay until you give them candies (or the end of the contest). So there is no timer on those children.

Offer candies to the children

When a child is waiting for candies, you can see which ones will please him the most.

►Each child asks for 2 candies.

When you give candies to a kid, he gives you satisfaction feedback. You receive points corresponding to their satisfaction level: more he is satisfied, more points you will get. Those points will allow you to get gifts (see later).

If the kid is less than 50% satisfied, he will make you a trick.

Get gifts

With the points you receive from the children, you can get gifts and legendary tack to get Bucephale. Each gift has its price. You can see them on the contest page.

Tricks

When a kid is not happy, they make you a trick. We will not describe them to you; you can be surprised as you discover them. default smiley default smiley :)

Black Market

At certain moment during the contest you will be able to buy Halloween Packs in the Black Market.

Those packs contain:
► 2 rings bell
► 12 candies
► Common objective

Give candies to children to unblock chapters from the Bucephalus story!

There are 20 - you can see all of them, their prizes, and objectives by scrolling through them on the Pinata page (There are little arrow buttons next to where it shows how many points it takes to break one)

I may be totally wrong in my calculations so no guarantee this is right but I was able to 70 more points. This is only helpful if you are using HOPs or passes as it doesn't get you to the next pinata without them but I thought some people might like seeing it:

Looks good to me...

AS for mistakes - those are hard to say as there really is no right or wrong way to do the Piñatas (it all comes down to what can potentially get you the most out of your clicks). To me, it looks go with no mistakes (And if there are - they're probably minor ones) so players can also look at that as another possible guide to follow.
