I would like to give Honor to my Schleich horse Secretariat. He was here at the beginnings of VS and will always be. He did lessons for kids for 15 years straight. He was later leased by Emma, to be brought up in the show world like he had when he was 5. This schleich has been in our family(real life) for 12 years by the way. He is now 30 years of age with a swayed back and age on his brow. Before he is retired forever, I would love to show my gratitude for such a wonderful horse. It breaks my heart to see him go, but he will still graze and roam in our pastures forever. Here are a few pictures of him at Nettington Finals, last week. We love you Greatly Secretariat!

So I have decided, on weekends I only do pictures and shows, and on weekdays I do videos.

Lately we got a new horse called Moon Lapse at our horsey clinic. He came in with a weak, sore and painful back, many saddle rubs and a spooky outlook on riding, so we knew we had to act fast to ensure his future. He first arrived, dazed and confused since we had had to tranquilize him to control him, but his face showed great signs of a hidden love:

We began to work on groundwork with him but we wanted to get him used to his stablemates. His would be Bourbon, an 11 year old Ardennais.:

He started on groundwork 2 days later. He was nearly wild and bucked, kicked and reared whenever he wanted. The earlier owner said he had been ridden very often till he was abandoned. Then that was when his bad habits formed. We had the chiropractor come and also the vet to check on any things that could possibly hurt him. He began to calm down and by the 4th day he was fine. His back was still a bit sore, so we had a few more visits with the chiropractor, but by the end of it, he was beginning to love his job.:

By the 6th day, he was ride-able. We rode him once, very gently and he was fine, the next day was the daily Sunday Run, a joyful trail ride with many people. On Sunday, we tacked him up and rode him with the others. He was such a jolly horse on the trail. While Moon was getting his training so was the owner. We taught him new concepts and we knew they would be a great pair for the rest of their lives. Here is moon on his last day of training:

Any ideas for making a breast strap for racing tack set using common household things? I am not allowed buy rings and ribbon ect. But, i have 2 small jump rings and loom band hooks.

Why aren't you allowed to buy craft supplies? At least here, ribbon, felt, and jump rings are quite cheap. And tack making is a great creative outlet!

If I were you, I'd explore duct tape tack. It could actually look quite nice if you have brown or black.

Because i would apparently not tidy them up and they would be everywhere.
