Schleich!

I don't know. I would imagine that "Germany" was done away with because it was made in china, although through a German company. Perhaps they were testing a Portuguese molding service with that one, and didnt like it? Or maybe the sculptor was Portuguese?

Ahhh so many people do it on beach photos.the horse looks real, but not the scene it's in. It's on wet sand...but there's no good prints!
|
Really? I didn't know they were made in Portugal! It's only the one horse, so it's really weird.

Yeah, I understand the Germany bit.. but yeah, I thought that could of been the reason.

Good places I've heard to buy them: Tractor Supply Co, Toys R Us, some Walmarts, sometimes local tack shops, Or online at Amazon, eBay, or Happy Hen Toys.

If they are made in Portugal, Germany, or China they can look different! Some have variations. I know many collectors who just collect the variations. Today, pretty much all of them are made in China. Portugal is a nice one to have!
I don't really know any cheap handmakers, they are usually really expensive! I have looked at the Canon T5 But I don't like it, so I am getting the T3I which ranges from 375 to 800 dollars! |

Yeah, I love how realistic haired breyers are. Pair them with some good tack and make sure there's a shadow or something over the doll's face, plop them outside, and they look so real!

I thought that beach picture was literally real, and I was going to say something about it not being related to Schleich's! Wow, just wow
