First horse I ever rode, well if I'm honest sat on cause I dont think you can count your first time on a horse as riding! Anyhow, it was my mums retired 16.2hh chestnut Anglo arab gelding. He was such a sweetie sadly we had to have him put down 2 years ago at the age of 32 after he fell on the yard and he couldnt get him up.

However he first pony i ever really rode and fell in love with was JR a 13.2hh ish skewbald gelding at my first proper riding school(the one I went to before was awful, the instructor just stood outside the arena smoking as we were lead around in circles in walk for 3+weeks!!). Since JR I have loved Skewbalds and have a soft spot for them all! x

I can't remember the very first horse I rode (I was 3 and it was the only time I was on the horse) but some horses I rode when I was little were Lady, Purple and Charlie I think his name was. Charlie was a big pony for me (at the time) and he liked to eat so my instructor had to put a grazing rein on him so he couldn't eat lol! Lady was a little black mare with a blaze, and Purple was a dapple gray Welsh, and her dapples looked purple so that's how she got her name. Those were some of the first ponies I rode.default smiley ^)

Well...I rode a pony at an event at my church once (no idea what the name was) and a horse named Jackson, I think, while I was in Arizona. But the first horse I ever had a lesson on was an absolutely ancient bay arabian named Bayrod, or "B" for short. Poor guy is still being used and he is 30+ years old now.

Jewel was the 1st horse I ever rode.
An aging palomino named Dusty. He had the worst attitude ever and hated to be ridden but I fell in love with him. I don't know what breed he was though. He was the first and only horse i've ridden so I only have memories of him, unfortunately. ^_^
