I first road a horse with no name. The horse was going to be put down by vets because the owner had abandoned it so my neighbours adopted it and I'd go over to help them after school. The second horse was a black Friesian called Black Beauty. It was amazing. Love Friesian. My third horse was a thoroughbred called Amalita and I road her for campdraft, cattle rustling etc.

The First horse I rode was Jazz I did not fall of but I had a accident while I was riding him (I was about 4 or 5) witch made me afraid to ride but I wanted to get on a horse after about a year but by that time we no longer had a horse but finally after about 9 to 10 years I got back in the saddle with a very sweet horse named Amber

Star. A lovely liver chestnut lad, who took terrible advantage of new little riders. I was 7, and it was my first lesson. I was on board, had had my stirrups adjusted, and was about to walk up to the indoor school. The instructor took her eyes off Star for a second, and he promptly walked straight back into the stables barn, through a fairly low door, leaving me hanging from the beam of the roof. About 12 years later, he retired, and lived for many happy years in a retirement group of horses, not far from the riding school.

Petee, he was an older gray horse. He was amazing. I rode him at my parents friends house. They owned him and another one. Sadly I couldn't ride him after that for awhile because he was bitten by a rattle snake but he lived but I never rode him after that.

Tina. Well, she was a pony, but anyway. I don't remember very much about her because I was about 5 but I would love to meet her again. I found an old pic of Tina few years ago and she was very cute! But I rode Tina only once and she was almost 30 years old the , so I don't know if she's alive anymore..

The very first horse I ever rode was a little bay pony named Thoreau. I was probably about 11 years old and in a week long summer camp. He was a very sweet patient little guy.

Since I'm from Finland these names might be a little wierd for you but anyway:
The first pony I rode is named Arctic Light but called Lyyli. She was and is a little shetlandpony and she's very stubborn but cute and she was the first one I did everything with. The first horse I rode was called Ismo. He was my best friend until he died. He was a private horse but I got to ride him a lot. We were really great together, everyone could see we really loved each other and he was a real gentleman. I miss him so much. I rode those two in the beginning of me beginning in this sport (2010). Those two made me begin in this sport and I'm so greatfull for that. |
