I think my first horse was called Sadie. My aunt would rent the horse for me and then give me my lessons. Then Sadie moved and it was sad. I kind of had a bad history with first lesson horses. My second horse, Eddie, went blind and I could not ride him any longer. Then he moved shortly after. But, after about 7 years, my aunt changed barns and Eddie happened to be staying there. Super happy to see him again. To be clear, I never have owned a horse.

When I was about 18 months old I think I sat on a horse at my mums riding school called Eric, he was about 12hh I think.
But the first pony I ever properly rode was when I started having lessons when I was 5, and I rode a chestnut pony called Tee-Tee who was about 11hh. He was so cute bless him |

I don't real remember but, and it wasn't really "ridding" I just sat there; I think his name was Jack, an old retired racehorse. I remember the horse I did my first show at, a chestnut pony named Lacy.
My first walk-Trot was on a dapple grey gelding named Spiderman. |
A black and white Shetland pony. I don't remember his name. I was only about 3. He actually taught my sister an I how to fall before we learned to ride. lol. He would buck us off as soon as he got the chance.

That's awesome. The first horse I rode was called California, a fiery little mare (Quarter Horse? I don't know what she was. ). I think I was 4. We went on little bit of a trail ride, and I was being lead. Cali pulled away from the guy who was leading me, and ran over to eat some grass. But, she chose the grass on the other side of an electric fence. She got shocked, bolted, jumped over a fence, bucked me off into a bush, and then trampled me. I've got the scars to show. But, I still ride horses! Love them! |
A Paint Horse named Sherman, loved that lil' guy!
