I do not - but all signs seem to be pointing to them coming within the next update or two

I can't answer this for sure - but my guess is;

Click to display
We'll probably still be able to make them as normal - it's just that the location to do will be moved (So instead of the button being on the Meadows page - it will be in with the workshop - however they might work)

My guess is sometime in the next week or so (as Equidow is already testing, and they tend to start testing shortly before we do)

Going to be interesting to see if we have to wait for the mashes to be made. Like the saddles and what not.
I realy hope your right.

The changes this time are massive.
We'll need new foal games (the ones I use rely on the use of the box), new blupping schedules.
Have to gather materials needed to craft stuff....etc etc

it's going to be like starting over in so many aspects default smiley :o

I just cannot wait for the draft horses.
The other changes....uhh I don't know.

To be quite honest, so far I'm mostly overwhelmed by how much is going to be changed. Lessons, missions, resource gathering, workshops, 11 new employees.... this game seems to be going in the direction of the Settlers or Travian. (If those are still... things)

I personally think the ECs were perfectly ok as they were. They were a secondary thing to do, which didn't take too much time from the main aim of the game, which I gather, is supposed to be horse breeding.

I agree. Its all becoming rather confusing default smiley :s
I wish the changes were released more frequently but in smaller batches and that we got more notification ahead of time and more explanation once they were introduced

The only thing the new and the old employees have in common (in any significant way) is the name.
Anyone complaining and comparing them to the old employees should probably read what ShorahNagi has been posting (page 902).

Here is the translation of what the employees do:

Click to display
Sharecropper (Métayer)
The fertility of your meadows down half as fast.
1 pass for 30 days

Gardener (Maraîcher)
The yield crops in greenhouses is increased by 20%
1 pass for 30 days

Groom (Palefrenier)
The box wear out twice as fast (Translation fail? default smiley :s )
1 pass for 30 days

Coach (Entraîneur)
Your competition with less prestige does not count in the calculation of the prestige of the competition
1 pass for 30 days

Monitor (Moniteur)
Only 4 best boarders included in the calculation of the prestige of residents
1 pass for 30 days

Veterinary (Vétérinaire)
The skills bonus conferred by your equestrian center is increased 50%
1 pass for 30 days

Groom
The extraction missions relate to 15% of additional resources for your equestrian center
1 pass for 30 days

Overseer (Contremaître)
Daily regeneration of resources is increased by 25%
1 pass for 30 days

Craftsman (Artisan)
The duration of production in workshops is reduced by 20%
1 pass for 30 days

Saddler (Sellier-bourrelier)
Leather needs for production in the workshop are reduced by 25%
1 pass for 30 days

Worker (Ouvrier)
Repair workshops costs 2 times less
1 pass for 30 days

I really wish that people could please read what has been posted about the changes before passing judgment.

Ow, has changed this game, I will hate to play it now!

You do realise that Owlient has 45 employees, right? When you vent all your frustration at one person, who may not even have had that much of a hand in the changes you're complaining about, then you're kinda acting like a bit of a bully default smiley :(
It was that sort of unjustified hatred that lead the creator of Minecraft to sell the company to Microsoft.

Employees to improve your equestrian center
Employees ease your game and help you to make your performance center.
The secret market is completely removed . The objects that were sold there may be produced or purchased in the shop.

So a new feature appeared to help you make your most successful equestrian centers : employees .

Employees are available through contracts a month purchasable for 1 pass or 10 diamonds. There are 11 different acting on different aspects of your center to make your play, improve your performance or reduce costs. For example, the coach lets not include competition that the prestige of the least prestigious competitions; the vegetable (farmer?) allows you to increase by 20% the performance of your greenhouses ; the saddler leather needs decreases by 25% for your productions who ask .

You can have all active employees at the same time in your center . If you get several contracts of the employee, the times are cumulative. They are activated automatically as soon as they are purchased.

There will be Employee UFOs offered on the game so players can get a 5-day contract to test them out. UFOs for ECs will also be added.

They are NOT required for Centers - rather, they are more of a bonus than anything!
~*~
This is what the page of them looks like:

Again, they are entirely optional, and not required! Will they give a center a bit of a boost with various elements? Yes. Will it be possible to run a center without them? Yes.

I know I myself have no intention of spending my Passes on them, but I can see how they would come in handy for newer centers (or centers that need an extra boost).

Veeery eeenteresting, as my dad would have said, followed by a chuckle default smiley :p

Click to display
We can pay diamonds for these bonuses, which is good, and looking through them the only one I can see myself wanting is the vet, as my centre is a +12 one and having that increased would be essential for how I play the game. If that's all I'll be choosing on a regular basis, then 10 diamonds per month is grand default smiley :d

You don't know how much you will or won't like it until you try it and give it a chance.

There are probably good reasons why each feature or bonus is being added, and I have learned that however scary changes to the game might sound at first, pretty quickly it all works out default smiley :)

Ow did not change anything, and she is only one person on a large team of people who work for the game. In every company different things are decided or handled by different people.

@Nerferka...I wasn't comparing the old employees to the new employees. As I stated I was content with the way I had set up my employees paying them with my EC equus.

With the new employees I'm not paying a pass for each one every 30 days. I strongly prefer to spend my passes on higher skilled horses to help with my race prestige...default smiley (y)

As I also said...I'm just sitting back and waiting until all these new changes get implemented to the game and take it from there. Am I threatening to quit over it?

No...I still enjoy this game, my friends on here and working my EC the best way I know how an am happy with...default smiley (y)
