with meadow time going away then so too, presumably, is the opportunity to find so many carrots and apples lying around. My horses find loads of them every day and it helps to build up my stores default smiley (lol)

I have a question though for Dr Zig

With the normally Tub of Grease being placed in a different spot, would that mean that our Wilds will now have access to this perk?

It depends on how they'll now be got. If the box items switch to lessons/missions then those will still require being in an EC so wilds would still miss out.

I can answer both of these...taken from my earlier note baout the changes to Meadows and Boxes:

Bonuses gotten from the Box (Comb, Hoof Pick, Tub of Grease) - will be switched to being found during Missions (lessons)

Other treats (Finding Apples, sugar, etc) will be linked to the Feed action
The Bedding in the box will also help reduce energy requirements when giving birth

So Spyder - Wilds will not have access to the Tub of Grease as they can't do missions

Dr Zig - You can still get your stock, just when feeding instead of foraging in the meadow

as the post say the drafts will reproduce like the donkeys, I wonder if we can cross different breeds of Drafts, or we can only have purebred drafts. Shire/Percheron would be interesting......

Also- Any idea on when prepod will start?

All we know is like Donkeys - they can only breed 3 times...because of that, my guess is that they will only be breed-able with other drafts


For question two...

I'd say within the next day or two

I liked it when they made the carrot available to them but they do seem to get the worst end of the stick.default smiley :s

Does anyone -possibly- know when any knew horses/divines will come out? I'm really itching to know as I want to have 4 divines and at least one of the new breeds...

The reason you can't cross breed donkeys with Horses is that their GP-system conflicts each other's.. So if the drafts have the same as the horses (which we can't know for sure yet, but if we assume that they do) I don't see why you wouldn't be able to cross them default smiley :p Also since mules are sterile IRL it would be weird if they on howrse weren't .. default smiley :p

I'll agree with that - but who knows...Changes might be made to them in the future

Nope, nothing is known of any new Divines at present time. The newest horses known are going to be the Drafts (they said two breeds will be added)

A screen shot of the Create a Team page showed Shire as a breed, so the chance is high that Shires will be one of the breeds, and that we will have a different one for the second)

Since they can only breed 3 times...one would have to decide if they want to keep the coverings pure, cross the drafts (if possible), or create crosses with regular horses. That's where my thoughts on them being limited to Draft only breeding comes into play.

That, and can you imagine a Shetland crossed with a Draftdefault smiley :p

A lot of wands are going to be used that's for sure ^

I love working foundies. Their very challenging of course. But working the little outsiders is fun.

I wonder how they'll introduce them

I'm jumping around wanting them to arrive already. If we have to wait until May it's going to be excruciating-
I just hope they do not introduce them mid March when I go on vacation default smiley :o

Equestrian center prestige

These changes will take place towards the end of March

Water troughs and 3*** equipment will be taken into account when calculating equestrian center prestige.

As is already the case with showers, water troughs are taken into account in the equestrian center comfort rating. You need one per box in order to receive the highest prestige value. So head to your workshop and get to work!

3*** equipment provides the best prestige value; 2** equipment is no longer sufficient. So head to your workshop and get to work!

Draft horses
These new features will be released in May

Two draft horse breeds are added to the game!

Draft horse breeds work in the same manner as donkeys, meaning they can breed three times in their lifetime.
They behave the same as other horses (BLUP, competitions, training...).
Mission earnings are twice the earnings of a regular horse: they earn twice as many skill points, twice as many Equus and bring twice as many resources or Equus to the equestrian center.
Players can submit creations for draught horses in the creative space.

What's next?

The equestrian center overhaul is almost done!

We will make the final adjustments as we go.

So to answer the question:

Draft Horses will not be added until May - but at least we now know when they will be coming and can probably look forward to testing them in April

crafting stuff:

mashes take 8 hours (no matter the amount), fertilizer 16 hours, if you miss flax seeds (for the mashes) or straw (for the fertilizer, you need it along wit droppings) you can buy them right on the crafting page,bonus items take 24 hours, big boxes 48 hours, large workshop 72 hours ← that is the longest as far as I can see

with a small workshop (that I had without buying it), you can craft 100 mashes at the same time. With a medium workshop 200 mashes and with a large workshop 300 mashes
