They are A LOT different than the original Jobs:

The way they work is more like a temporary bonus for your center (For example; one of them reduces the cost of resources when crafting for 30 days if you choose to hire them (they all costs the same price 1 pass).

They are also an *Optional* feature for centers. You do not need them (I know I have no intention of buying them) - so if you don't want them...don't buy them, simple as that

Think of them like the old temp. employees - so rather than giving your passes to another player...it's being given to the game.

Bringing forward the information for those who have not yet seen it or are confused about some of the subjects at hand:

Employees to improve your equestrian center
Employees ease your game and help you to make your performance center.
The secret market is completely removed . The objects that were sold there may be produced or purchased in the shop.

So a new feature appeared to help you make your most successful equestrian centers : employees .

Employees are available through contracts a month purchasable for 1 pass or 10 diamonds. There are 11 different acting on different aspects of your center to make your play, improve your performance or reduce costs. For example, the coach lets not include competition that the prestige of the least prestigious competitions; the vegetable (farmer?) allows you to increase by 20% the performance of your greenhouses ; the saddler leather needs decreases by 25% for your productions who ask .

You can have all active employees at the same time in your center . If you get several contracts of the employee, the times are cumulative. They are activated automatically as soon as they are purchased.

There will be Employee UFOs offered on the game so players can get a 5-day contract to test them out. UFOs for ECs will also be added.

They are NOT required for Centers - rather, they are more of a bonus than anything!

Again, they are entirely optional, and not required! Will they give a center a bit of a boost with various elements? Yes. Will it be possible to run a center without them? Yes.

I know I myself have no intention of spending my Passes on them, but I can see how they would come in handy for newer centers (or centers that need an extra boost).

Changes to Meadows/Boxes

These actions have been removed to make things more simple. To compensate:

Feeding a horse will give more energy
The Prestige of the Center will also allow for Free Fodder to be given. Centers will still be able to grow and offer Fodder, but this will allow for extra fodder to help Centers keep their stocks and to help others.
The Feed Menu will tell you exactly how much will be taken from Inventory and Center

Bonuses gotten from the Box (Comb, Hoof Pick, Tub of Grease) - will be switched to being found during Missions (lessons)
Other treats (Finding Apples, sugar, etc) will be linked to the Feed action
The Bedding in the box will also help reduce energy requirements when giving birth

AS for the Divines who use these for their bonuses...The perk they offer will remain the same:

Longma : 100 % chance of finding the tub of grease to horses performing a task on days when the bonus is triggered

Opal : When eating a carrot , it can have the chance to find a diamond.

Quartz : When drinking , he may have the chance to find a diamond.


About the Missions

There are two kinds:
* Lessons
* Resource gathering

As director of equestrian center :

- Decide the proportion of lessons (gain of Equus ) and operational tasks (gain resources) that you want performed. Based on this proportion , your boarders can perform one or the other.
- Play on these proportions according to the number of residents and the number of missions they perform, so as not to exceed the operating limits of your resources.
- Set your priorities by focusing on finance, resource acquisition , or a balance between the two .
- Increase the minimum level of skills of your residents to collect more resources.
All this is managed from the office of the equestrian center.

Tip: By default , the split between lessons and operational tasks is placed at 50 %. If this does not suit you, you can change it.

As a breeder :

- You do missions by having your horse boarded in a center
- Your horse earns points in his two best skills
- You earn equus
- Tipping depends on the content of the mission of Equus if it is a lesson of resources if it is an operating Mission


New Items for Centers

Trough
- The trough is placed on your meadows and improves the performance of your production 30% leather.
- The trough is placed in boxes and multiply by 4 the energy gain and moral obtained when the horse is drinking. *works with the Fountain bonus from the Prix*

They can either be manufactured in your workshops or purchased at the store. You decide what you most advantage!

For the moment , the presence of watering in the boxes does not count in the prestige of the equestrian center, allowing you to acquire them in as . Later, troughs will be included in the prestige of the boxes.

Tractors
-Your scarecrows became tractors. They improve performance by 50% of your crop as before.
- All improvements can be sold in the shop , showers and tractors included.
Also - Towards teh end of March, 3*** facilities (tack, boxes, etc) and Troughs will be used in calculating prestige. You'll need 1 trough per box (like with Showers) for max. Prestige.


Cows and Leather

Leather is a new resource that allows you to make saddles, bridles and bonuses for competitions.

The leather is obtained by raising cows in a meadow. Like with a regular crop - the larger the meadow, the better the harvest

There are two different types of quality of cows. You recover more leather with Longhorn cows than with Braford cows.

Cow farms counted in the maximum number of fields that you may have in use simultaneously. Therefore , it is now possible to have 6 meadows crop / livestock simultaneously.

You organize also manage your meadows as desired . You can have six cows farms simultaneously; in this case , it will not be possible to launch a new culture. Or you can for example have two farms cows and four cultures.

If your equestrian center specializes in western:

- You get the leather where calves are replaced. Their price has been increased slightly
- Now , calves Braford increase the difficulty of cutting 4 points ( against two previously). If this type of calf is present in your cutting their number was divided by 2, rounded up unit

About boxes, green houses, and workshops

Your installations wear out over time. You can then repair them with resources

What are the installations concerned ?
- The boxes , which are worn by 1% per day so busy
- The workshops, which are worn by 1% per day whether used or not
- The greenhouses , which wear of 1% per day when used

They can be repaired from 75 % wear . When an installation is completely dead , you can not use it until you repair it.

To repair an installation, you will need resources. The number of required resources depends on the degree of wear , quality and improvements of the development concerned. You will have more resources need to repair a large workshop 80% worn a small workshop worn 20%. Also repair a box with a shower will require more resources than a box without shower .

Greenhouses

You can have as many as you like greenhouses . They come in different sizes, such as meadows , workshops and stalls . When used , they count as culture.Il is not possible to breed cows there . This means that you can have six cultures simultaneously in winter, whereas until now it was only possible to have a greenhouse cultivation.
They wear out when you use them and have no concept of fertility.

Tip: the performance of your greenhouse is not dependent on their wear. They always have the maximum yield

workshops

All these objects are manufactured in workshops. To get you started , we've given you a small workshop. If you want more or larger , you can buy them or make them.
The more your prestige , the more you can run workshops at the same time to a maximum of 5 .
Plus a workshop , the more you can make objects simultaneously.

Hint:
- From now on, mash and fertilizers are manufactured in the workshop and not on the page.
- If you cancel a production, resources are lost.


About resources:

Make what you need
Gather resources and build what you need in the workshops of your equestrian center . Buy, sell , resell to the shop to earn equus .

New resources are emerging about the game:

- Iron, sand and wood are obtained by the missions based on the location of your equestrian center (mountain , beach, forest).
- The leather is obtained by raising cows.
These new resources and existing resources on the game , allow you to make what you need or make the sale to earn equus .

Some examples: leather and iron used to make saddles, bridles.; flax used to manufacture saddle cloth tapes, etc,

Tip: for 30 days , you can change the location of your equestrian center as many times as you want to test the different options available to you.

Purchases, sales and speculation

Once things are made , you can either use it for purposes of your equestrian center or your horse or sell it to the market.

The prices of manufactured objects depends on supply and demand . Depending on the time of sale, they can be more or less expensive. Plus an expensive item is sold , plus it is interesting to resell it. More an object is low, the more it is worth buying.

You will also need to purchase at the store the raw materials that you can not harvest or directly buy the finished product. So if your equestrian center is located in the forest, the shop will be useful to get sand which is important in the construction of boxes . You can also decide to buy directly from a box ready for use. This will cost more but will be faster. See for yourself what suits you best!

I would assume so (after all - it would take newer players awhile to get items they need by growing) but I can not say for sure [I have posted literally everything I know/have found about these changes]

All of you who are complaining about the "paying passes for jobs"; keep in mind that you can also use diamonds, which are really easy to get if you have even one old-ish divine or wild. I think that it is really wonderful of Howrse to offer the diamond option!

Draft Horses!

Two draft horse breeds are introduced to the game!

Draft horses have the same reproductive system as donkeys , that they can reproduce three times in their lives.

They will functions similar to otehr horses (BLUP, Train, compete, etc.)

They will earn double when preforming missions; so twice as much skills, equus, and twice as much equus and resources for the Center.

It will also be possible to propose Draft Horse coats for the Creation space!

Speculation from ShorahNagi *not facts*

It is unknown what breeds they will be - but a screen shot I posted much earlier listed Shires as a breed that could be used for Teams (Which would mean that like normal horses, their GP goes up - as Donkeys are not an option for teams due to their GP going down)

It is also unknown if - like Donkeys, they will only be able to breed with other Drafts - but they are limited to just 3 coverings.

They do offer a benefit for centers - in that they will bring in Double resources (after all, bigger horse = able to carry more default smiley ;))

Just remember, deleting your EC also means you have to delete your account

IF you do not wish to have an EC - I simply recommend deleting everything associated with ti (so destroy your boxes, meadows [though I would actually keep these and just use them to grow supplies for your own horses and things to sell for money], etc) and don't worry about those aspects of the game.

I found a screen shot from Equideow that had Shires (a draft breed) listed on the Create a Team page - so assuming nothing has changed since that shot was found (it was chalked up to being a bug in the system that Shires showed in the list) - it will be possible...but again, no guarantees

I dropped them because they had like 6 promos going on at the same time to the point it completely overwhelmed the game. That along when they brought in those sheep saying they were the"special" sheep ( they had coats the were supposed rainbowed and charged you real money). And all you got was the regular white ones. And they KNEW they were selling the cheap ones--never told the players or fixed it.

This is why I prefer Howrse. They have shown they will reverse themselves ( not always though). Will listen to the players and do testing of all new stuff ( to minimize glitches) the best they can.

So I will not have any trouble with these changes as I was on Farmville and Farmtown for well over 3 years ( right after they started). I built a ton of things from scrap there..default smiley (lol)

I know I'm not paying passes for EC employees....default smiley (n) I was content with my temps along with me being the saddler an a very dear friend being my farrier.

I'll just sit back, wait and see how it goes when the changes are implemented...default smiley (y)
