Changing the coats to fit the tack is all good and well, I dont like too many of the changes but that is besides the point.. The saddle doesnt fit the connie I tacked in the promo:

Sorry about the quality, should have saved it before sending him off to be judged

Im not keen on the ones with the neck so think the saddle gets pushed that far back either. I know the icelandics have the saddle a bit further back but this is just wrong.

I agree with you. The saddle doesn't fit at all and the neck is way too thick for the saddle to fit.

The joint is unatrually bent backwards, producing the effect that it has a large rear something like that. In truth, if you really look close you will see that the unatrual bending of the joint is the only thing 'wrong.

Oh my God, I hate the new Vanner coat! It doesn't resemble the majestic creatures I love at all! They don't have enough feathering, they're faces look horrible, and....I don't even know. Please, please howrse, keep the old Vanners or at least add more feathering!
How exactly did the Arabian change? I was comparing a DA I have with a regular Arabian and really couldn't see a difference...

Here is a side by side comparison of the old Arabian art and the new art we got today, so you can better see the change, they are pretty similar

I think that the new arab coats are better than the old ones. I like that they are shinier.

I still like the old ones a lot more
I login every day now just to get the final glimpses at my beautiful Mustangs, Shetlands and Gypsy Vanners, knowing I took them for granted now and dreading the day when the horse I got for buying the *board game* from this website looks like something stuck through a meat grinder and given to me to model into a horse. (I have no art skills whatsoever)

That's it. I'm off to Bella Sara to spend my money. They at least have good looking horses.default smiley :@

I agree, the Gypsys and especially the Mustangs are ugly... I have sold all of mine besides 2 and ones with GA coats
Is it just me, or does the Shetland foal's hind legs look a little off?

I think with most of the foals, they're just too crest-y with thick polls and foreheads, that's what makes them look awkward. If the neck and poll get a bit slimmer, it'll look more natural – foals generally aren't born with a ton of crest-y muscles after all. Most of the foals look a little too close-coupled as well, with squished torsos and short backs, though I don't have much of a problem with this. I do love the new foal coats for the Curlies and Fjords, SO adorable! And combined with how good their new adult coats look, I'll likely get into breeding Fjords again and start a Curly farm ^^

Personally, I think the Marwari, Thoroughbred, Curly, Akhal, Irish Hunter, Morgan, Aussie, and Quarter Horse adult coats are a BIG improvement over the old ones (might actually get me breeding Hanoverians or KPWNs for the first time ever). Most of the adult coats have some minor details that could be fixed, though I think the ones that would benefit most from a tweak would be:

Brumby – less boxy torso and more defined rump
Nokota – shorter ears, longer torso, longer front legs, withers further forward (as it is now, it looks almost mule-ish)
Mustang – less bulgy, more defined neck (the horse as it is now looks bull necked)
Akhal Teke – only needs a very small change, the front leg starts too low on the shoulder I think, or the shoulder is lifted too high for the rest of the leg
Friesian – less bulky mane, healthier-looking coat (just looks very dull as it is now), withers moved forward slightly to elongate the back. A side note for Friesians - I wonder if Howrse will add Chestnut as a possible coloring? Fox Friesians are extremely rare, but I think they're absolutely beautiful!
Purebred Spanish Horse – the neck is too long at the crest end, with withers too far back, head should be a little larger

In fact, looking over most of the adults again, the main problem I see is the shoulders being too far forward look properly connected with the withers.

There are a couple new coats that look a bit off to me, but I can't figure out what it is exactly. Mainly the Morgan, Trakehner, and Highland Pony. I still like the Morgans, and the Trakehners still look okay, they just don't look quite right to me.

I know I'm one of the few who think so, but I love the new Gypsy coat. I think it looks a lot nicer than the old one, even if it's not as feathery or classically elegant as what we're used to when seeing a real Gypsy Vanner (though again, the withers are too far back).

Does anyone know if the Tennessee Walker image leaked on page 193 has been validated?
