No seriously though, have you seen it? The way it's standing with its legs spread out, the marking on its nose, the shape and color of the tail, and even the little fluff of a forelock all remind me of a calf. |
^^^The structure of the legs adds to that, too! That's cool.

I kinda like that it looks like a cow.
|
Okay, so soon I want to make a barn. So, I want to know what I can use for the little bars. I know wood skewers and tiny craft sticks, but can I use anything else? Toothpicks, maybe?
|

I use toothpicks. Round ones. You can paint them if you want, and if you use cardboard and have the bumpy corrugated lines going up and down, you can space then evenly by sticking them like two holes apart, if that makes sense
|
Okay, good. I remember the one time we had flat toothpicks. Splinters came off them. *winces*

I'm always checking around in here. Just like a

Yeah, the flat ones break easily, the ones we have are slightly tapered the whole way down, and besides, metals bars are often round

Now I need it! To add to my 50 billion other schleich....hehehe. But I have a black and white paint mare who would be the perfect momma for it! To.... Amazon or some place that sells it! |
By Retired breeder, 24th March 2016 22:52:11
Yeah it's really cute!
|
I just bought the paint foal, Frisian stallion and mustang mare. I think the paint foal is cute, but he does look kind of like a cow. I guess he is what you call a cow horse.
|
I just finished my schleich barn. Six stalls made out of popsicle sticks. They have doors that open and close. Got to love the hot glue gun and floral wire.

So y'all call them lollipop sticks. We call them Popsicle sticks. I'm curious. Are there actually lollipops that come on them? Or do you call Popsicles lollipops, maybe?
|
I've always called the popsicle sticks... Am I missing out on some new trend?
