Anyone know how to make shadow rollers( i think that's what they're called) and a racing saddle (that looks like one)
By Retired breeder, 19th March 2016 01:19:18
A quick easy option: use felt for both. Stretch it gently then roll it around ribbon for the shadow roll, then make the saddle with felt. Or whatever else you want to make the saddle with.

Has anyone made a saddle from actual leather?
By Retired breeder, 19th March 2016 12:56:54
Hello, it's me.default smiley :)

Amnew, I haven't. I'd really like to, but I can't find leather at micheals.
By Retired breeder, 19th March 2016 15:15:54
I have tried but failed at making a saddle out of real leather, the leather I had was to thick therefore making it oddly shaped.

Thinking about selling my breyers to collect schleich again! What's everyone's favourite horses?
I personally love the Fjord family - they're adorable! But you can also never overlook the older models.

My favorite would have to be the Hanoverian mare and trakneher stallion
By Retired breeder, 19th March 2016 16:45:05
My fave is the old paint stallion
Okay, so I'm just about ready to start painting, but I need to know if I absolutely must prime my model. I can't find the primer... I read that priming is just to make the surface smooth, but I want to keep the fur grain. So, do I need to prime or not?
