I think the amount of workshops you can have working simultaneously depends on your ECs prestige, right?

How many resources do you get from boarders doing missions in your EC? Is it 1/mission?

It looks like it depends on the skills of the horse doing the mission.

hire employees? i thought they got rid of that? now is this for passes, you could buy a worker to easier manage your EC? hmm that's interesting.

You can get employees, but each employee is one pass for 30 days, so if you want all of them it will cost 11 passes per month.

The employees are :

Sharecropper
Meadow fertility decreases at half the speed!

Market gardener
Greenhouse crop output increases by 20 %!

Stable-hand
Boxes wear down at half the speed

Trainer
Your competition with the lowest prestige value is not included in the competition prestige calculation.

Instructor
Only the best 4 boarders are taken into account in the boarder prestige calculation.

Vet
The skill bonus given by your equestrian center is increased by 50 %!

Groom
Extraction missions give 15 % extra resources to your equestrian centre!

Foreman
Daily resource regeneration increases by 25 %!

Artisan
Production cycles in workshops reduced by 20 %!

Saddler
Leather consumption in workshops reduced by 25 %!

Repairman
Repairing workshops costs half the regular price.

Some of them are very expensive for what they offerdefault smiley :-x

It seems as if the amount that can be gathered will be between 2 and 30 per mission (I assume without bonus's?)

Shoot, Gullfaxi in the sales so soon? I just used up all of my passes to get Midas, but Gullfaxi is my all-time favorite divine. What to do, what to do! I am really going to have to scramble if I want 15 passes.

the greater your horse's skills, the more resources it gains from missons. Skill gain from lessons and missions is the same as it always was.

Absolutely love the vet employee's bonus and very happy to pay 10 diamonds per month for that one! default smiley <:o)

Loving the higher energy gain from feeding, having lots of workshops going as well as my meadows, being able to have more greenhouses, the water troughs, and loads more of the new features!

Draft horses will not be arriving for another few months.

I already have a new foal games schedule typed up and ready for whenever the latest round of new features are added to the game. They are really easy, even for foals with no shower, no philotes stroke, no water trough, no Grand Prix water, etc default smiley :d

Balancing lessons and missions:

What is the benefit of lessons? Missions give you materials. Do these materials expire? Is there a limit to how many you can gather? I don't understand why you'd choose to give the lessons any percentage when missions give you materials to craft things... Someone explain better please?

You will see, on your EC's office page, a number of resources that can be earned from your EC each day. The number I saw was 2000. If you are using, say, your own EC, and you want to earn as much of that 2000 as you can (it's wood if you have a forest EC, for example), then you can set missions to 100% and lessons to 0%). Each horse working in your EC will then only have the option for missions, and so earn wood (iron if a mountain EC; sand if a beach EC). Missions and lessons give the same skill gains as always - no change there.

Oh, and ...

the amount of resources, e.g pieces of wood or iron or sand, that your horse earns when doing missions is larger if he has large skills. So a horse with 5000+ skills can earn about 25+ pieces per mission, whereas a horse with about 1200 skills earns only about 10 pieces

My first response when seeing all of Ow's official topics in the test server was...

Click to display
default smiley :odefault smiley :o aaaargh aaaargh aaaargh default smiley :odefault smiley :o *runs away screaming in terror* default smiley :p It all looked and sounded complicated at first.

But I read each topic carefully, tried stuff out, read them again, tried stuff out, and now it all seems grand. We'll be doing some things a little differently, but it's all manageable and nowhere near as scary or complicated as it all seems at first default smiley :d

I'm sorry, I've seen the test pages and stuff to test.

Howrse is taking a game I joined for relaxing and relieving stress, and turning into a complicated and stressful game.

They're not making this game simple, they're making it harder.

They are making the game way to complex, sure some of it is cool.... but still the people who are already on top are gonna be there and the others that spend tons of money will get there.... and I feel like those of us who dont will stay low.
