Question: I've heard the Donkey image will not be updated. Does this mean we won't be able to apply visible tack to the donkeys?

Most common ideas in the old Ideas Forum:

"New coats!"
"these coats are old, we want different coats for horses!"
"we should be able to see tack on horses!"
"visible tack on horses!"


Now that these are coming into effect...

Now a lot of people are complaining one way or another. (Not including people that give constructive criticism, I understand the difference)

tack is a good idea.

People just need to stop complaining even though the visible tack is a good idea.

I think their frustration is the howrse mods said no and they wouldn't do those things when the ideas were suggested, because the rules said none of those ideas. Now those ideas are being done, which some of us don't like.

The Atalante and Centaur packs are being replaced by Poseidon's packs - that's all I know for sure.

I'm PRETTY SURE that if you have one BM tack on a horse, it will receive a full set of Poseidon tack when updated. If you have single parts of Poseidon's tack (horseshoes, bridle, saddle) they will be taken and whichever you had the most of will be the amount of Poseidon's packs you will receive in compensation. So say I had 3 Poseidon's horseshoes and 1 Poseidon's bridle - i would be given 3 Poseidon's packs as compensation for taking away the horseshoes and bridle.

Like I said, I'm only partially sure about the second being true.

"Poseidon's Pack now comes with a bridle, a saddle, a saddle blanket, an ear bonnet and polo wraps. Items contained in the pack can no longer be obtained individually. This means the Scale bonus has been removed. The bonuses this pack provides have been reviewed in order to remain attractive.

They are also combining the existing tack into a singular option.

They state that you will receive an "adjustment" of BM tack in your inventory so whether that is the complete PP I am not sure either.

No, as different horses have different positions, and it would mean changing someones copyrighted work.

You would think not, but there was something in the Howrse Blog about it a while ago. Apparently they were actually considering having it applied to GA Horses! But that would require A LOT of fancy new graphics on Howrse's part, so I'm thinking... Maybe they will ask players to add them to their coats when they are making them? But that would really complicate things... So, I don't know.
