From a few pages back:

**New Divine Morrigan**

Morrigan
Morrigan is part of the Celtic Horses. Find 5 Ogham letters of his prediction by using every day his power of divination. Once completed you can win:
- 1 Medusa's Blood
-10 000 Equus
-1 Bell Boots.

You cannot sell this divine
While I do appreciate that we don't have time limits anymore, I honestly don't understand why on earth we shouldn't be able to exchange certain BMIs. I mean, we're already exchanging BMIs, what's the difference with a few more? Sheesh. As far as I can tell, it's not like the world is going to blow up if we do. And it's funny that while they add more to the list that we can't trade, they add something we can. Makes absolutely no sense. I can't even see how this will help Howrse make more money! Because the BMIs added to the list that you can't trade are worth two passes or are fairly easy to get in the promos, and the item that they DID add to be tradeable is also worth two passes, then it makes no sense because we'd be still spending two passes anyway, or getting them for practical free (like how easy was it to ge the MH in the potions promo? Easy peasy) Don't get the reasoning behind this whatsoever....

I think it is because they are rarely sold on the Black Market and Howrse wants to keep them special by limiting the ways they can be obained.
I think it's great Howrse has listened to many players who have not liked the timed-items. default smiley :d I never complained or cared much of it. But I love Howrse for that and the effort. Thanks!

As for the pass thing, I think it sounds great! And sending horses to heaven on this game isn't "killing" them. It's deleting their profiles basically and making them unusable.

The new pass thing behaves as a balance between new players and senior players. It does add some form of a challenge. It also furthers players into marginal groups for how they "earned" their place. (or legit earned)

Essentially this is putting another bag of sand on your wagon that you are gunna have to develop muscle for, too. It just so happens, for many of us seniors, this bag may be forcibly dumped unto your cargo load we have already piled onto our cart. >> Some may just have their stuff roll down hill due to the change... not good default smiley (lol)

I would say at least:
15% will cope with minimal effort (newbies: eh, they don't quite know what's the norm)
40% will have a shaky shift but are ok; cart isn't moving forward, but will soon.
25% will be falling back down the hill; will eventually get to grips (huffin' n' puffn')
19% will be falling back, but their cargo will be cascading across the sides of the hill, too.
1% will quit...

This is about how I see it. NONE of it is true! Just a visual.

If I'm not able to get passes without playing a minigane that I'm unable to play, i will happily quit. I love collecting shinys, but they're all worth passes, or need passes to buy the bmis, so that's just cutting off all my funds.
There are many other games out there I'd be more than happy to switch to. Howrse just won't be worth much of my time anymore if they implement that ridiculous change.

Someone asked about the divine I mentioned in my spoiler. Here is an image of it and explanation
Click to display

It has no skills whatsoever, no ways to enter competitions, no nothing. It is there to sit and look pretty. You get it by sending 10 pass horses and that is it. Every other old horse you send (25+ years) will get you aging rings which you can give him. 1 ring is worth 1 year. I assume different aged horses give you different points since I send a few 28 year olds and got 28 rings, sent a few 27 year olds, got 27 rings etc. In the second picture on the right you can see where the rings will be located and on the left is the ranking for it going by which is the oldest.
Every day that he wakes up, he can give you a seed. That seed gives you 10 bonus rings when you send a 25+ year old horse to heaven.

I guess it depends on what kind of player you are. Since I don't get pass horses that much anyway, I don't mind the new change. (Although I don't like the divine) It gives some players more chances to get more passes. But I understand how some players will not like it.

(Basically, there'll be ranking among the players, who'll have the oldest Yggdrasil.)

Yggdrasil is tribal horse
He'll be added into your account, once you send 10 horses older than 25+ years to heaven.

Yggdrasil is strange horse. Only one action available with this horse, is giving him tree-rings. Every tree-ring you'll give him, will age him by 1 year.

You'll get tree-ring everytime, when you send horse older than 25 years to heaven.
Everyday, when you visit tribal horse for the first time, Yggdrasil can give you "seed". With this seed, you'll gain 10+ tree-rings with the next 25+years older horse sent to heaven.

With increasing age, his appearance will change. After first change, the photo album, where you can browse through all of his previous appearances, will appear.

This horse cannot be sold.

So basically Yggdrasil is just a trophy horse. There is no care or maintenance involved except for visiting him everday for a seed. Can't say that it encourages me to keep aging horses except for collecting aging points.

^^I think in that case I would probably end up
Click to display
selling off all my pass horses and use that to purchase more immortals. Much less work using immortals as AP farmers. I don't know that I'd want to go through the effort of raising older horses just to keep up that new divine. Unless you'd want to raise up older horses to sell off for those that are interested in the divine. I'd still downsize my herd even if I did that though.

That has to be the single most useless thing Howrse has ever introduced default smiley (o)

At the very least it could offer prizes or something when it reaches
Click to display
certain age markers and/or when it 'grows'. Start with very basic prizes at the easiest to reach ages - e.g. AP for reaching 50 - and build up to more valuable prizes - expensive BM items, possibly diamonds - the higher you get. Something to make it remotely worth having and ageing.

I'm not sure this is something that will even please newbies who will now have (relatively) easy access to a divine. Compared to all the other divines out there, who if nothing else can at least earn a reasonable amount of equus in divine only comps, even if they don't have any real perks, this would be a disappointment. It isn't even something special to own, being so easy to get (it would take 150 days of working 10 horses daily, if they started from foals and didn't use any AP to speed things up).
I suppose people might find it fun and quirky at first but I think, once the newness wears off, a lot of people will leave it to gather dust in their breeding farm. There will be some people who race to reach the final stage of growth (whatever that may be) but once that is reached, then what do they do with it? What is the point of a horse that you can't interact with, beyond ageing it with dead horses?

It is certainly a poor replacement for the loss of 20 possible passes a month.

OMG Hahaha I agree with you also default smiley xd
I feel like I'm the only one who likes the idea of this divine...

Click to display
where it says the seed adds +10 tree rings when the next horse is killed, is that cumulative? So you could get however many seeds and use them all at once, or would it be better to kill a 25+ year old horse each time you find a seed?
