As people have mentioned, it should be harder to get passes with this system, since you can get up to 30/month right now. Since you will be getting less passes, it shouldn't be easier to get divines/skillers.

I think this is a matter of opinion. Currently, it takes a lot of time and a lot of dead horses to achieve those 30 passes, which many players don't have. By doing the loyal players pass it makes passes a lot more accessible to newer players as well as players who don't want to spend large amounts of time farming horses or who don't have the funds to buy older horses. Personally, I'm against this whole thing because it will practically destroy the Howrse economy and the current value of passes, but I do see why some people are for it. default smiley (y)

On another note, I don't really understand why people are getting so blown up over this... It's a game. Howrse/Owlient is a business. They can do whatever they want to this game and there really isn't anything that we can do about it. I get it, it sucks and it's going to mess everything up for a while, but I really do think that as a community, we can get through this and find other ways to support ourselves. Don't be afraid of change. It might look rough, but who knows, maybe (probably not) but maybe it will turn out to be a good thing? Well, I don't know, but just be hopeful and have fun. That's what all this is for right? default smiley :)

Only because we have own opinions that differ from yours and we are against this change does NOT mean we are acting like babies. YOu do realize its not nice to look down on someone else in that way just because they have strong opinion about something right? How would you feel if someone said you behave like a baby just because you had certain opinion you posted or feedback -yes, when we point out the flaws in the new changes mm its called feedback with we are allowed to post- about the changes?

We have all right to be angry when your gameplay is changing this drastically We are also allowed to voice our view on the change even if certain things could be said better way it dosent mean its okay for YOU to come and say "stop acting like babies": .

I like the horse but I dont like the perk it has. I like how it looks its very pretty though. The jokes I made are just for fun. I am not bothering to kill 10 old horses to get it because of its low perk, I really would like to own this horse but I would not kill old horses for a photo album

sorry I got preety upset lately cause all I saw in the other pages were players complaining
and its just sad cause howrse did plan the whole promo again I don't meant "your babies" in such a bad way though it does sounds bad now. You are all mature adults smart people that filled this topic with their answers and posts. I know I should keep my self from reacting this way but sometimes I just can't stop it again sorry for the mess

the new divine being a waste of space has little to do with the change to the pass system. Do I like that this divine is the new 'use' Howrse will be giving old horses? No. Would I still think the divine was a waste of time even if it was introduced now, without a single change to the way passes work? Yes.

It is a horse that has absolutely no use beyond being a pretty picture, and a trophy associated with it. Personally I have no issue with how it looks - I quite like coats which have horses merged with nature, and have several GA in my collection with the theme - but I do not consider being pretty a 'perk', and different people have different tastes in art. I can see why some people might find the artwork unappealing, and it has nothing to do with 'acting like babies'. The idea of it growing and visually changing as it gets older is an interesting concept for a divine, but not as the *only* thing the divine does.
This is a horse that cannot breed, cannot compete, cannot even be taken care of (unless I have misunderstood something from the screenshots that have been posted). Even the most useless low GP, ordinary gelding with no skills is more useful than Yggdrasil because at least they can earn some equus through comps and, if nothing else, can actually be looked after and interacted with beyond using tree rings to make them grow.

Until this divine has more purpose than just 'look at the pretty pictures', I will continue to think of it as a waste of time. That Howrse is using it as the consolatory pat on the head for losing pass horses makes it worse, but is not my sole source of dislike for the divine.

**NEW DIVINE YGGDRASIL**

Hi
we already announced, that there'll be system update for pass horses. The change will be in 8th November.

Today we want to introduce you new Divine horse, his name is Yggdrasil.

Yggdrasil is new Divine horse. You can get him, through sending 10 horses, those are more than 25 years old to the heaven. Only one action, you can do with him is giving him tree-rings to make him older. (Dendrochronology, find on google, if you still don't know what's that.) For each tree-ring, he'll get older by 1 year.
For each horse sent to heaven, that will be older than 25 years, you'll gain one tree-ring.
While progressively aging him, his appearance will change. Once you'll change his appearance, you'll gain access to photo album, where you can see all of his apearences already opened. (Gained)

You'll have chance, for each first visit (one daily) ,to get a seed, for which you'll be able to get 10 tree-rings, for horse sent to heaven, that will be more than 25 years old.

Based on you feedback we decided to cancel the limited items.
Items from promos will no longer be limited, as well, as items from your inventory. (Not sure here, heh.) Also items given by Divines (Aquarius, Libra, Gemini...) will no longer be limited.
Together with this, there'll be new changes in Item Exchange system:

- Hermes' Wings, Bewitched Pumpkin, Seal of the Apocalypse aren't tradeable anymore

Celtic horses are Divine horses. Each of them represents one of the Celtic gods. They have the power of divinationm, that allows you to discover 3 ogham* letters each day. Each of the Celtic horse is immortal, unsellable and unclassifiable.
They cannot:
Reproduce
Being customized
Participate in Grand Prix
Be aged manually
They do not affect the prestige of a EC, where they are boarded

If you don't care about these new rankings or the divine then you shouldn't have to worry about them default smiley :)

I have been pretty quiet over that last 10-15 pages of opinions, rants and raves. Some players telling others they are overboard in their comments.

Well I really could not care less about this rumored, untested bit of information.( referring to the OFFICIAL preprod test sites). On another site the players were told OFFICIALLY that any and all information regarding this undated maybe yes, maybe no change is to be brought to contact us and dissuasion was not wanted in the spoiler threads. These servers have done what was requested by the official staff.

The result is a player coming to post real important information related to an official promo or event doers not have to try to wade through pages that may be irrelevant to them and see what they need easily. One person here posted that they could not post anything on the US server because they would be censored immediately and rightly so as this was requested by the ADMIN staff. Two players tried to drag this info to another server and were severely admonished by one of our ADMINS and again rightly so.

My point is this thread was not set up to be a personal rant thread about information that is not official and could potentially not even come to this server. If this thread ever gets back on track those that want current spoiler info regarding a promo coming up may find it without feeling they need to apologize for asking.

New features. Not new promos, not current promos, but "features." I'd say a major overhaul of the pass system falls into that category.

Because an ADMIN has asked us to go to contact us regarding what is being recently discussed to death.( exact comments are--"we have requested that any discussions be referred to "Contact us.") means their wishes are requested over ALL servers.

Personally I don't really care what your interpenetration is, the ADMIN's wishes supersedes yours or anyone else's

^An admin on the international server, or an admin elsewhere? Personally I haven't seen an admin's post asking us not to discuss the changes, though it may just be something I've missed if it did happen. Howrse has frequently been inconsistent regarding rules across servers, with some allowing what others do not. Considering how long the discussion has been going on here, I would have expected admin/mods to have been a bit more visible if they didn't want us discussing it here.

Why should I need to go to another server to learn what should or should not be posted on this server? Are you seriously suggesting that people need to run around to every single server to figure out what and where to post spoiler info?
