Just a "warning" if you haven't figured this out....

"Celebrate a horse's 50th birthday" apparently means you have to hit right on 50 years.... makes sense in retrospect, but was disappointing when I aged my 49y 11 month horse to 50y 1 month and didn't get the objective.... oh well.... back to the grind.... default smiley :(

So, is the prize draw similar to the lottery or is it more similar to drawing for who wins Croesus each month? Or has it not been revealed yet?

We haven't really been told anything about it apart from a) that it's happening and b) everyone who earns 2 horseshoes in this promo is entered. We didn't test it, but I would assume it would be more similar to the Croesus 'draw'.

This is a pretty random question, and I'm fairly sure the answer is no, but does anyone know when there will be a divine available in HoPs? I've got one I have to use in 13 days before it disappears.

No, we never know when horses (or anything else not normally in them) are going to be in luck items. The one exception is the recent divines linked to the Great Challenge promos.

So basically, the great Challenge is a 10-day (I believe) promo in which, each day, you have 3 objectives to complete. Each day, you can ask for help in your third objective, no matter what it is. These objectives are then completed by the community. You can also complete community objectives every day, and if you complete at least one a day, you get extra tickets for the Lottery. If you complete all 3 of your challenges each day, you win gifts that will be awarded at the start of the Lottery.

Now the Lottery is exactly what it sounds like; a big lottery in which players purchase tickets for each draw and win prizes. The amount of draws each day is determined by how many horseshoes are collected during the Great Challenge (horseshoes are awarded for each challenge completed).

If any of this is incorrect, please feel free to correct or elaborate on it. I've only been in one GC/Lottery since becoming an active play again, so this is what I remember from the last one.

You are right, though I am not sure about the horseshows being the number of draws daily, so I will just take your word for it default smiley :p

I just remember a lot of players saying they wanted to do community objectives to try and raise the community horseshoe amount so that we could have 4 draws a day instead of 3. I don't think we made it to 4 last time, though. :P But I could be wrong, the horseshoes could be for something else.

And when I say horseshoes I don't mean Golden Horseshoes, which are given out at every event based on participation. The GC horseshoes are basically the 'points' that go towards the number of lottery draws, I believe.

our number of lottery draws per day is determined by the number of horseshoes collected during the GC. For example, the community needs 500 for one draw per day, 20,000 to get 2 draws and a gazillion to get four draws which we never seem to reachdefault smiley (lol)It'll probably be around a million horseshoes needed or so to reach 4 draws. Also,you only get 1 ticket per day when completing a community objective. Any extras you do only net horseshoes so it's still good to do as many as you can

We can't be specific with when promos will start, since they can sometimes start earlier/later than others. Promos tend to start on Thursdays, but they can start on any other day, too - So I would expect it for around the 29th September.

The special offer is always available the last 2 weekends of a promo, so unless something weird happens, yes they should.
