Here is the current American Stock Horse graphic (Quarter Horse, Paint, Appaloosa, Argentinean Criollo)


Here is the one that was leaked to this topic a while back.



The general consensus is that it's neck is so long and thin that it looks like a "bobble head". Many people complained. It looks they read our comments and took action. Here is the "new and improved" graphic.



The neck is thicker and the chest is larger. They also lifted the head carriage by just a smidge and filled out the barrel. They're subtle tweaks, but if you open the image file urls on different tabs, and then flip back and forth between them, they're noticeable. I actually like it now! If this is what we can expect to see on our American Stock Horses and Argentinean Criollos, then I think I'll start breeding them more actively than I have in the past.

It also gives me hope that the other new coats we've complained about will be tweaked, too.



Also, the way the ears are pricked, and eyes bright makes it look a lot better. Now if they would edit a few of the other coats...

I am happier too but the mane length is how most people normal cut thier mane, I personally agree with you I like the long mane it makes them look a little more free in a sense if the makes "sense"..... sorry for the pun.

I real hope that you are right that they are listening to us. This improved coat ((Quarter Horse, Paint, Appaloosa, Argentinean Criollo) is much better

I hated the initial paint coat, but this new one I really like. Hopefully they're right and that's what we're getting

Where is everyone seeing these new coats? I'm just sitting here attempting to wait patiently for tomorrow so I can see what they change next >.<

Im glad they improved the Stockhorses hopefully they add more fluff to our GV toodefault smiley (lol)

They were leaked to this topic by players who were on the test server before it closed and by players who like fiddling with the urls and snooping around in page info, and stuff. I guess we're just too impatient to wait for tomorrow. default smiley :p

I tried to sneak a peak at what's coming by monitoring the Russian server. It is updated many hours before this one. But as far as I was able to catch lastnight, their coats changed at the same time as ours. The UK and French servers update before us, too, so I'll see if they have it ahead of us. If not, then we'll just have to wait, albeit impatiently.

1DHorses, they were posted in this forum on page 145, I think. If it's not on that page exactly, then it's somewhere near it.

Of course, the images that have been leaked to this topic are not necessarily what we will later see on our games. Some of them may have been works in progress.

The only ones I like are the KWPN Marwari, and Akhal-Teke. The Tekes look like the Pearl divine. but the Gypsies are bad! So are the QH! I started breeding Newfies and QH, but I definitely Will NOT with these horrid coats! I'm sorry horse, but this looks like when Howrse first started. More simple, compared to coats now. These aren't the true ones, right? please please PLEASE say they aren't the true 100% coming soon coats.

default smiley (7) I love that new coat! I bred Quarter Ponies for a short time, but I couldn't stand the coat, so I sold them all off. If that's new coat though, I'm definitely going to breed them again!

Maybe they'll change with a future update. When Akhal-Tekes were first introduced to this server, they looked like warmbloods. We were really confused because they looked like, well, Akhal-Tekes on all of the other servers. Then I logged on to this server one day to discover that they had changed to the correct coat.

I miss the manes...these new coats need their manes !!!!! The Lusitanos don't look nearly as nice without the manes...bring back the manes ...hahah

I actually think the new manes look good on the Lusitanos and such. The manes on the old coats looked thin and without volume. The new cropped manes look nice, but it would be even better with a full thick mane

Hello.
I do not like the new coats at all.
They look like a toy horse not even close to a real horse.
I loved the manes, the expressions and the appearance.
Please reconsider this change.default smiley :(

Is the co nice oat the same as the Quarter pony? If so, I do feel sad for the Connie. They are very athletic with a huge jump, but the new graphics do look a little like an oversized shetland.
