I do not think that they plan to change the foal coats.....yet

The new coats that I like are the Curly, Akhal-Teke, Hano/Holsteiner/IH/KWPN/Russian Don, Knab, Trakehner, and Fjord.

Mustangs, GVs, TBs are also pretty bad... I love the current Mustang, and the GV right now is beautiful. :/

I'm sort of neutral on the others.

thoroughbreds look a bit to uhhh....chubby to be racing horses
mustangs......unless you know of a horse with a neck like that.....also the one we have now looks awesome

default smiley (lol) I don't think it's horrible, but as a QH owner myself, there are definitely improvements that can and should be made.

I ride western so I've ridden QH and Paints and the new coats are not accurite, I think the artists(like myself) need to look at refrence photos. I do that all the time but i don't trace them. If they looked at refrences than I feel like the horses would look amazing. And if they did look at refrence than... um the artists need to improve( no offense just constructive criticism)

I don't hate the new QH coat either. However, like ~Callisto~ said, there definitely improvements that they could make. I used know an older QH that was built similar to the new coat, but like the coat, he had a few conformation faults. The coat is definitely not bad enough for me to stop breeding them. I like most of the new coats, minus the Friesian's(I lover the current one), and I'm excited for the Highland Pony.

I love the new Spanish horse coats. I am certainly enjoying looking at the new coats on my actual horses. I love the Pegasus coats best. The wings are awesome.

Here is the current American Stock Horse graphic (Quarter Horse, Paint, Appaloosa, Argentinean Criollo)


Here is the one that was leaked to this topic a while back.



The general consensus is that it's neck is so long and thin that it looks like a "bobble head". Many people complained. It looks they read our comments and took action. Here is the "new and improved" graphic.



The neck is thicker and the chest is larger. They also lifted the head carriage by just a smidge and filled out the barrel. They're subtle tweaks, but if you open the image file urls on different tabs, and then flip back and forth between them, they're noticeable. I actually like it now! If this is what we can expect to see on our American Stock Horses and Argentinean Criollos, then I think I'll start breeding them more actively than I have in the past.

It also gives me hope that the other new coats we've complained about will be tweaked, too.

I don't know why people are complaining. It might not be completely accurate, but its better than the previous coat.

I don't know why I put "new and improved" in quotation marks in my second to last post. I was not being sarcastic, but I fear it may be read that way because I didn't take the time to edit before I posted. default smiley :s

The more I look at the newest version of the new American Stock Horse graphic, the more I like it. default smiley ^)

I"m not liking the idea of the Big Challenge. It seems that the VIPs are getting rewarded *too* much. And since when did divines's values depend on what rank you were? Plus like some others said, it's like the snowball fight. Those who can stay on 24/7 are getting all the good prizes. I am a minor and have limited hours. Kids and adults should be on the same page here.

Okay... I feel a little better about my Paints and QHs changing. That improvement made it look *much* better! ^^
