I really didn't like the gift handout during the lottery. It seems like good prizes have gotten more rare to get. Even with 400 tickets, the best prize I got, and I got this every time with high ticket numbers, was a Harmony Pack. Then tack and equus and food, maybe the occasional WOY or Medusas Blood. I have an average of 15 tickets per lottery by just buying and receiving from friends. Hopefully I get lucky then since I didn't have much luck on prepod with 80 tickets even.

More tickets just means more prizes - it will not always mean better prizes. I've been lucky enough to win top prizes with just 1 ticket...I've won jack and beans with 100 tickets. Here's a sample of my winnings on Preprod:

*Pass worth is based on the price the items are sold for in the Black Market*


173 Tickets = 14 Passes worth of BMIs (at least 50 passes spent to get this many tickets)


39 Tickets = 3 passes worth of BMIs *Mix of passes, equus, and won tickets*


3 tickets = 5 passes *all tickets gotten by winning them in the last draw - so 300e spent)

When you own an Altair - there's a chance he'll be able to drink Twice in the same day. This means, you'll be able to give him a drink, and then if you are lucky - you can give him a drink again and activate his perk.

The drink icon did not grey out and I was able to click twice. *though I would assume that after the second drink - the icon will then gray out as normal (sort of like how with the Philote's Stroke, you can click it - it remains colored in - but after the second click, it grays out*

Do you think we will ever/soon have a chance to get the solars or wind divines again?

I would really love if they could do some promotions bringing back old divines that people missed or didn't have accounts when they were released.

I know they will never be in the reserved sales, but doing something like the clover lottery where you could choose which you wanted or even just a hop promotion would be amazing default smiley (y)default smiley (y)

Any chance this might be reality?

When howrse put them in the reserve sales, they said this would be the last time you would ever have a chance to get one of them or all of them.

That sucks, since no new player will ever be able to get those trophies. I wonder why they bother retiring the divines at all. It seems self-defeating to me?

New players would be just as willing to buy passes to get them, I'm sure. If Howrse stopped offering these divines because their bonuses are such game-changers, that means there's a really lopsided playing field already and to some extent, wouldn't making them available level things out? The older players aren't going to buy them, unless they need to complete the set, but the new players won't necessarily have those advantages and be more optimal for pass-buying.

I realize that Howrse probably loses money from the benifits that some of the older divines offer and removing any divine means people are more willing to jump on that last chance of getting one, but couldn't they find other ways to mitigate their loss? default smiley :(

Via a Reserved Sales event - no

Via other methods (ex. Promotions, in Titan's Challenges, etc) - yes.

It was stated at the time of the Sales that:

It's the last time we offer them in the reserved sales. They are still in the TCs for instance or may come in contests but that means very limited amounts and little choice on which one you get.

All we can do is wait and see.

Though not quite a Divine (it's a new Species of Special Horse) the next set is going to be the Legendary Horses. They are like Divines in how they work (ex. Don't count for EC Prestige, can only enter 1 regular comp. a day (But unlimited Divine comps.), can't be customized with items like the Golden Apple, etc.

In this post here - I brought forward pictures and the FAQ I wrote about the Legendary Horses.

This next part is a copy/paste of the topic on PReprod about them:

We introduce a new series of rare horses: Legendary horses. These 5 horses are very special and each will be in line with a story. These stories were written by an author who will not be revealed during the test period so that we can keep the surprise on the live version.

The first story will be revealed, chapter by chapter with progress of the collection of horseshoes in the Grand Challenge. The remaining stories will be revealed through other competitions in the future.

On the Directories page, you will find a link to a page that describes all five Legendary horses.

The Legendary horses have some peculiarities that we invite you to discover with Altair.

When a new chapter of history is unlocked, a banner appears on the main game page.

Altair


Altair is the first of five Legendary horses.

He is a beautiful Mongolian stallion and you can discover it's history and that of it's young rider, chapter by chapter on the live server when the competition will be launched.

How can I turn my horse into Altair?

During the contest you can win tack unique for Legendary horses. You can give pieces of Altair equipment to one of your horses. When you place a piece of equipment on one of your horses you can no longer sell it.

►You need to complete the first Altair before you can place Altair tack on another horse (if you want a second Altair, you should expect to complete the first).

►You can replace the Altair equipment by other equipment, but in this case you will lose the Altair equipment.

►When you have five pieces of equipment, your horse becomes Altaïr. It keeps the same features but its powers double.

►The horse can receive Black Market items with the exception of Morhpeus' Arms and Nyx Packs, breeding items and customization items.

►Registration for the Grand Prix is not available but the horse can enter competitions.

►During reproduction, cover offers are lost. If the converted horse is a mare in gestation, it will lose the foal.

So pay attention to the horse you turn!

The horse turned receives the Philosopher's Stone and becomes immortal.

What is Altair?

Altaïr offers 24 VIP from time to time to its owner: Some days he can drink twice. When drinking for the second time of the day, it offers 24-hour VIP. If you are not eligible: get the advantage of Altair makes you eligible. If you are a VIP, your subscription will be extended by 24 hours.

VIP players, Altair offers:

Altair allows you to automatically manage the distribution of your EC missions.
When there is at least one resource to be collected in your EC (greater operating capacity than 0), the mission assignment focuses entirely on resources. When there are no more resources, missions focus on the lessons.

Star of the immortal power

On the legendary horses, you can see the star of the immortal power.

When a horse becomes a legendary horse, you receive the branch of a star. Each branch can only be obtained once. For example, if you turn 2 horses Altaïr, you will receive only one branch of the star.

When you have collected the 5 branches of the stars (and therefore get the 5 legendary horses), you can activate the star.

Upon activating the star, all horses owned by the player receive the Star of immortal power bonus, which gives them +10 in each skill. The star can only be activated once.

Yes, once the new Great Challenge starts (which will probably happen sometime within the next few weeks (as we're just wrapping up testing now) - the Lottery will be happening as soon as we collect enough Horseshoes (just like with the Old Great Challenge

Recently Howrse has been shoving promos down our throats to no end, usually starting one the Monday after the previous one finished, so it's very likely it will start on Monday 20th. If it doesn't then it will be very soon after that default smiley :p

And for those who don't have passes, everyone can still win prizes. I mean, it's free stuff that everyone is able to get. Why isn't that a good thing?

People, I've said this a million times and I'll say it again: We are all brothers and sisters here, united by a common interest in the game and (in the vast majority of cases) a common love of horses. Why should we not enjoy the game instead of becoming sour, report-happy and snobby and taking out our frustrations on our fellow players?

So you got a good prize and I didn't? Great! Glad for you! Enjoy it, and maybe next time it will be my turn to win!

The worst that can happen is we don't do business. Why bother reporting when a friendly "no thanks" will do?

So you are personally annoying to me (mind, not easy as I have a pretty tough skin)? That does not give me any right to just want to mess you up. A polite hint "I don't feel like talking right now" will be kinder to you and will give you a chance to learn without getting in trouble.


Honestly, my friends. Let's join together. Howrse will be that much better for it, and we will enjoy it that much more.

... not true.. yes divines are as common as dirt anymore.. and some of the prizes they give.. are not even close worth spending ANY passes on to get.. I know a ton of people unhappy about rainbows perks

I tried to get EVERY SINGLE rainbow divine.. and I didn't get A SINGLE ONE.. passes wasted in my opinion.. is it worth complaining about.. no won't change a thing. I am back to believing that Divines are near impossible for me to achieve anymore as I have dropped probably 200 passes over the last year trying for divines.. and I have received NONE.. so for that yes, I will complain a bit.. if you spend that much on something.. you should be guaranteed to get at least one.. 200 passes is A LOT of real money.. and for nothing I see why people are leaving this game in droves.. all the people kissing up, with the if you don't like it don't play garbage, you don't make yourself out to be any cooler to the management team by kissing updefault smiley ;)
