I know. I was just saying that you got the versions mixed up. Curlies were added in V.3

But in the grand scale their current graphic is Version 1 (v.1) the new would be Version 2 (v.2) So i did not get them mixed up.

I think the whole controversy here is a matter of opinion. They are part of the V. 3 and 4 series of *game* graphics while their *individual* graphics are V. 1 and 2. Matter of opinion.default smiley 8-)

But what about the versions previous to the current ones? Sorry....I'm probably over-thinking this default smiley (o)

No controversy and no need to split hairs.

Certain breeds were NOT on the game at the time of the v.1 or v.2 graphics. They were introduced during the v.3 graphics, so this change will be v.4 for a vast majority of the breeds on the game, but will only be a v.2 change for several others.

I am excited for SOME of the new coat changes. The foals will look a lot better. I just have issues with the Mustang, Friesian, Gypsy Vanner, Quarter horse, and Thoroughbred adult coats. They do not look right and I prefer the old ones to them.(No hate on the artists, but I think they could use some work before they are brought to the game)

I do feel for everyone who is losing graphics they are fond of, but I've been through this twice (and now use GA's on all the horses I keep, does that tell you something?) and wish I could transmit what I understand now: the graphics will keep changing no matter what we do or say. They graphic you hate today will be replaced by one you may love or hate in a couple of years, then a couple of years after that, etc.

It's funny, I hated the current Shetland graphic so much that I got rid of my Shetlands. I had loved the original graphic. Now I rather like the new one. I'm bemused that anyone could love the current one, to be honest. So tastes vary, and the only thing we can be sure of is that the graphics will change.

One thing about the Vanners - there are lots of gorgeous GA Vanner coats available. I may buy some Vanners just to use them. If you hate the new coat, start collecting GAs.

I think it would be rather interesting if Howrse ever ran contests for players to design the new graphics.

I personally think that the horn in a tad too short...

Am I alone on that?

I agree, the horn looks too small but everything else looks fine.

I like the new coats for the foals better than the other new coats. However, I really wish the Arabian foal's coat wouldn't change. I really really like it as it is. :/

I think that you have a great point, and I as well think it would be very interesting if howrse ran a contest like that.

This is completely uncalled for and rude. Do you want people to say something like that about our talent? I doubt it so I think an apology is in call. Sorry if I come off rude, but it needed to be said. Howrse has been made fun of enough. If you don't like it, it's just too bad. The graphics change is coming quickly and I for one am really looking forward to it
~Miracle: its Christyp122 feelings about the new grafics respect it.

And as to your comment; I agree with her/him. Its very simple; only because someone makes something dosent mean you have to love it because they spent time on it. You ae talking about professional artists who -I can promise you- dont care if someone dosent like their art. They concentrate on those who likes their art. A opinion is a opinion nothing more and nothing less.

I agree that an opinion can, and should, be stated, positive or negative, but one should still try to stay on the "common courtesy" side.

If opinions should be respected so should the work of the artists who drew the coats .

There is a difference between constructive criticism and just being rude.

On a more positive note, has anyone been saving up passes and HOPs for the Parade?
