I think they shave the manes and tails on spanish breeds ( in spain that is) when they are foals/youngsters anyhow.

You may be correct , we shave the manes off our TBs for polo and most of them are imported from Spain default smiley (lol)

Wow! Now the foal is maneless too!!! completely!!! worse then its adult form. Why are they torturing us like that? default smiley xd we love the Lusitano's main feature and that is a Long Flowing Mane! default smiley :'(
So the mane is to the other side(adult coat) but we don't want that, we want to see the mane.
