Breyer!
Yes!!!! Great idea for a topic! I love my Breyers, and I'm glad there are others here who enjoy them, too!
I don't know if I could narrow down a favorite, but two that come to mind are my first Breyer, Dan Patch (I think... I was really young when I got him, but I from checking photos, that's who he appears to be), or an old model of Sham, complete with wheat ear mark, that I spent way too much money on at an auction

im an avid stone and breyer collector, glad to see this topic come back to the equestrian center forum since the last one got deleted!
Yes...i was just gonna mention the old one! I also wanted to say that after that one was gone, we continued on sharing in the Schleich topic since they are all models. I have been posting my Breyers there if anyone wanted to check it out.
I'd have to say my favorite Breyer model is Obsidian, the unicorn. Most beautiful model in my opinion, close runner ups being Rain and Spirit from the original breyer model releases
I love Obsidian too...was very happy to add him to my collection!
I'm a bit of a sucker for the Othello mold too...and seeing what's coming next year in the collector's club has me drooling a bit, and hoping like crazy i can get ahold of him!
I'll post the first one! I got this pretty guy today!

Yesterday I just got the gorgeous mid year release Mojave, he’s a chestnut overo mustang stallion. I’d share a pic but my phone is being super weird at the moment and won’t let me

I have a small collection of customised stablemates, some I did myself & some collected for their uniqueness, I'm a fan of custom breyers I haven't painted in a few years as I have no studio space at the moment.
My favourite that I customised is a stablemate draught which a turned into a black pegasus with mohair mane & tail, he has a magnet inserted in his hind foot & a custom base allowing him to stand on one hind foot

I have a bunch of breyers. Some if my faves include:
-gala. I managed to get the absolute last one available at breyerfest -a red roan Belgian that I have named doughnut -I splurged a while back and got like 20 different unicorns all at once in various sizes and they're all great. -the pronghorn antelope -a running black horse I've been etching into a paint -not technically a breyer but I found a nice whitetail buck that fits in well -and I like the looks of Mojave for a custom idea I have. He's going to get a shiny colorshift top coat that should still show his markings
And I almost forgot, I painted a paddock pal with rub n buff over black and he now has a really nice aged metal look. He also has glow in the dark paint in there but it doesn't show much
Anybody else have this beautiful guy? I got him and was so excited, since he was the first breyer I bought with my own money!!!
Sorry that you first see his tail!!!
Also, the next breyers I hopefully will get (christmas is coming y'all) are:
Full Moon Rising Clooney 51 Ruffian (the model, not the mold) Anthem Highlander Snowbird Hyacinth and Wisteria (these gals are sooooooo pretty!!)
Or, well, they are the ones I want most.......
Congrats! My Spectre is in the mail!
I have a small collection of Breyer which is mostly famous racehorses but I've been eying Full Moon Rising. He/She (I don't remember) is so beautiful I have zero space to put a new model but I might just have to get him.
Yes, I'm hoping to get that one too, if and when the bank account allows...so pretty!
Is anyone into making tack and accessories for the models? I love making halters and blankets.
