Those magazine foals look so cute! Are some of them different colours/markings to the 'normal' ones?

I have been really good. Finished my uni degree, and passed! Got paid, so I'm off to find some Schleich, CollectA or Breyer to buy, lol.

Does anyone have or heard of the brand Mojo? They keep appearing in my Amazon recommended, but I've not seen them in shops so I can't compare them to Schleich, Papo or CollectA. What is their quality like? They look good in photos...

Yeah, I've heard of Mojo. I actually have the Morgan stallion. He's great and works like a Schleich. I actually got him as a gift and thought he was a Schleich until I saw the brand lol. default smiley xd But Mojo is pretty great if you're wondering.
Hi guys! I actually have a small handful of Mojos...i think i get them at Hobby Lobby on the rare occasion that i get to go there. I have the black Arabian Stallion, a peggie mare and baby, and a couple uni mares and the baby. I have two of those uni mamas on accident, but it works because one has a much ligher pink mane and tail than the other, so they are kinda different. They are nice and similar to Schleich, but i still like Schleich quite a bit better.default smiley :)

Thank you both for your answers! I decided to buy some Breyer and a Schleich model, but Mojo is now on my list of models to get, lol.

Well i'm back from my little trip...and its good news! I didn't find any Schleich in the garage sales, but i did find some in a Tractor Supply there! I will share them, but first i want to share my excitement about another find. I found a tiny blown glass Disney character like new in his little plastic case, sitting in the middle of a table of jewelry, and got him for a quarter (25 cents). Took a little digging on my computer, but i found the same thing on Ebay, only the very few i could find were different Disney characters (mine is the Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland). Everything else about them is exactly the same. Turns out they were sold from the Arribas Bro's store in one of the Disney parks, and i have no idea how long ago. Even the price/barcode sticker on the bottom of mine is perfectly intact, and he originally sold for $9.50 from there. That's a pretty good deal, but its even better than that. I didn't find the Cheshire Cat one itself on Ebay, but i found four or five other Disney characters in the same condition. The cheapest one was listed at $40, and the rest were going for $50! I'd say it was 25 cents well spent! Makes me wonder what they'd be listed for elsewhere. Anyway, he's pretty cutedefault smiley :)

Ok, thanks for humoring me! Now here's the Schleich i got:

I got the new Mandrill (he was an expensive booger, at $9, and i have no idea why he was so much default smiley :o ) :

I got the Golden Doodle:

I also got the Cougar:

And last but not least, i got the Trakehner foal!

That's all the Schleich i got.default smiley ^)

Oh, i have another story! I was at a garage sale and bought a few piddly little things, and there was this little panda bear so i took him up too, and i told them i didn't know how much they were asking for it as there was no price on it. They said, oh its on the house, you can just have it. I was like, ok, cooldefault smiley :) So when i got home and got my new finds in, i looked at the panda and realized the belly says Safari Ltd. on it! I was like, wow, i'm glad i picked it up lol. So i went online, and it turns out its the little panda cub below from the Safari Ltd. Zoo Babies Toob, number 680004. He's got a little bit of paint rubbed off the tops of his ears and a touch of his nose but is otherwise in fine fettle! Happy to have him!

Those are some awesome finds! I especially like the Trakehner foal. I have the gray Trakehner mare and the little painted foal, but I am looking for that one since the mare would be the same color and they would look a bit better together, I think. default smiley :)

So I havent gotten much new schleich recently, I picked up some old models a couple of weeks ago, and last week I found two sets for €5,99 each one was with a akita pup and adult and the other was a horse with some poles, they were in the Kruitvat where I work

Nice! I'm not 100% sure but i think that Akita set is newer but already retired, so great find! I do wish the adult one was bigger. Schleich seems to make all their dogs a lot smaller than they used to. A little while back i got a bunch of the CollectA dogs, and they seem to still be larger. Not of them (I'm looking at you, teeny-tiny Yorkiedefault smiley xd) but one of the largest of those i think i have is the Doberman. He stands about as tall (taller if you count his head and neck) than the old CollectA version of the Longhorn bull!default smiley xd

Those are awesome! I have to agree the Paso Fino mare is my favorite too but then again I love Schleich's horses so maybe I'm just biased. default smiley ^)
