Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

Daily Objectives

You can now complete two daily objectives each day! Some players can earn equus and others passes, depending on your seniority level.

Find your daily objectives on the homepage of the game, which is the page you see after logging into the game.

Completing the daily objectives seven days in a row will give a Horn of Plenty ! You can check on your progress through the gauge bar directly from the “Daily Objectives” page.

Within this thread players who need help, want to help, or just would like to share their progression with the daily objectives are welcome to post here.

Please note that if you want to discuss the feature itself or give feedback on it, we ask that you do so with the dedicated topic thread for new features here: A new year brings new features!

Hey, I was just wondering what pace is best to complete daily objectives at. I don’t feel like rushing through them (especially since there are seniority quests), but I also don’t want to progress too slowly. I usually do the objectives that I can already do, but some objectives come after my horses are already bedded, and I don’t really feel like using an AP on one of them just to complete the objectives (other than AP objectives themselves, of course) since I want to save APs for the future. So I was just wondering what the recommended pace for going through the objectives would be. I guess I can try playing the game naturally, but as I said before, some objectives come after I had already done what I should do to complete them. I decided to focus on buying horses for now instead of focusing on the objectives so that I can advance faster in the long run. Thanks for any advice! default smiley :)
I have the full list of beginner obj in my forum. that info can help you plan and figure out how you want to do them. it can be very helpful to know what's coming next so you can plan ahead. it helps make it go faster. with good planning you can easily have them done on day 28 which is the earliest to do them.

the thing you mention about bedding. if you know ahead of time that something is coming you would know not to bed. or train. or feed. or groom. there's a bunch of obj like that that if you know it's coming in the day but not right away you can save those things til you get the obj.

@Ayjay, well, that definitely leaves me with a lot of time to do them. I’ll try to go at my own pace. I also reached 3 days of seniority, which is great. default smiley :)

@Hiram Farmer, thanks for the information, I’ll try to see if I will remember to look at it ahead of time, since I tend to do things on autopilot. default smiley :-)) But I think I’ll keep it open on another tab to double-check while I’m working my horses and make sure not to bed them until I exhausted the tasks I can possibly do at the moment.

I’m also buying non-purebred foals, which are cheaper and less competitive than purebreds (I think so, anyway), so I can build up my AP farm and have extra horses to do competitions and stuff (and eventually breed) if I accidentally forget, lol. Also to have multiple breeds, I saw that was one of the future objectives, so I’m already covered. default smiley ^) I also see some objectives relating to coverings and foaling, but I don’t have any stallions or mares that I want to breed (or can) right now, so I guess I’ll just wait until my horses get closer to the breeding age (and I have enough APs). But thanks! default smiley :)

it's not just bedding down. there's other ones to that you can wait. few examples:
1. restore horses to 100% morale-2 things on this: 1. make sure to not put all of your horses in 3* boxes. they will wake up with 100% if in 3* boxes and it's hard to get them to lose morale. 1 and 2* boxes will be less than 100% but all you have to do to get them to 100% is groom them. So this is one thing to plan for and if you know it's coming one day don't groom your horses til you get it.
2. there's a bunch of sell amounts of droppings of increasing amounts. do NOT sell them til you get the obj. also once you start daily obj keep at least 100 droppings in stock cause selling droppings is also a common daily obj.
3. groom a horse
4. give birth to a foal-don't give birth to all your foals when you are about to get this one.
5. own 4 and 7 different breeds. start adding new breeds either through purchase or breeding.

these are just a few examples.

A reminder that this topic is not for asking for items to complete objectives. It's only for asking for tips on how to complete them

I’m having an issue with one of my daily objectives. I did pay to skip it, and my new one is ‘feed a draft unicorn.’ I did, but it isn’t marking that objective off. The draft unicorn I am feeding is a foal, does it have to be an adult? I’m on mobile.

A foal should count, as long as it's not still at the nursing stage. If it's nursing, it's probably not recognized by the objective as feeding.

How do you do the "reach an equus reserve ending in [whatever number]" objectives after you reach a high enough savings that it just says "1,000k"?

To see your specific amount on mobile, click your equus amount, then I think "detailed history" and it'll be in the top of the screen.

You can also switch to classic and it'll always have the full amount shown.

Or, if the stated number is only 1 or 2 digits, you can likely just do several equus earning actions, like lessons or comp and it'll easily validate. It's usually the more specific ones like "ending in 333" etc. that I have buy/sell stuff in exact amounts to get the reserve ending I need

How do I give an apple to a horse that was born today? Is there some kind of way to sort through horses by Date of Birth?

Calyx_IV, i personally get one of my mares pregnant , then use ageing points that she would give birth on that day, and once the foal is born, I look up myself on the directories and go through there to horses pages as a visitor and give that foal an apple

You can look at top teams or top horses in the ranking, there are usually some right on top that were born today. You can sort sales by month and year of birth too, so you could perhaps find one that way too.

Yes, one of your friends must gift you one of their items. You can definitely try gifting people gifts first and hope they gift one back. I think that's what most people do. You could also swap the objective out if you don't want the hassle!

You have to finish your beginner objectives first. After that then you can see daily objectives.

And once you finish your beginner objective as PrincessKC said, you'll be able to find your Daily Objectives by:

1) (Classic) Hovering over "Achievements," clicking on "Daily Objectives"
2) (Mobile) Clicking on the trophy icon at the bottom, then going to your daily objectives
