Daily objectives

HellOw,

After completing the Beginner Objectives, you can complete two daily objectives!

Depending on your seniority level, you will either win Equus or Passes.

How to find your daily objectives:

On the homepage of the game, right after you log in to the game.

By clicking on "Achievements" and then on "Daily objectives".

If you complete 10 daily objectives before the timer runs out, you will be able to open a Horn of Plenty .
You can check the timer and progress through the gauge bar directly above your objectives.

Swapping objectives:

You can swap one objective once a day.

There is a blue button with arrows on each objective. If you click on it, you can use Equus to swap it with a new objective.

On this topic, you can:

↪ Share tips and tricks with other players.

you have to finish the beginner obj to get the daily obj. as soon as you finish the beginner ones they will be replaced with the daily

My daily objective today was “give the whip bonus to a horse” and since I’ve been thinking about it, i gave one of my horses the Bonus pack which includes the whip bonus in it. It doesn’t seem to have counted, but i DID give the whip bonus to the horse??? is this a glitch or does it really not count?

you didn't give the whip bonus. You gave the bonus pack. Pedantic but there you go. Give a horse the whip bonus and it will validate.

Having removing a unicorn as an object is so brutal to me. I know it's just a game but ouch! With unicorns being something i usually want to keep a unicorn. I did it once but i think i'll just skip it this time and settle for only one instead of two for one day.default smiley :d default smiley (lol)default smiley (b)default smiley (n)

Gcat it wants to be VERY specific this game if it says whip it means just whip not a set with the whip just that one item.

The objective was introduced when players started to complain that because unicorn breeding was so popular, prices were decreasing. So Howrse introduced this objective so that players could get 'rid' of surplus colts and old unicorns (especially immortal ones) and get something back.

Dont forget you can pay to swap for another objective, or as you said just dont do it. We dont even lose the progress towards the HoP like we used to.

A reminder that asking for horses and items in this topic is not allowed. Attempting to trade items that can't be exchanged is also against the rules, as outlined in the Item and Pass Trafficking topic.

If you come across an objective that you need an item for, but don't have, you can pay equus to trade the objective for another in the hopes it's one that you are able to complete.

I understand how to cover a mare with my own stallion, but how do I choose a price for a public cover offer? Is there a rule of thumb? Is it only really based on genetic potential or are other things involved too? For my first I just picked something near the lowest end for the sake of "get that objective done".

He has 9156 potential, -83 BLUP (tbh I still need to learn what that is), and 857 excellence stars. He's sired by Ouranos and his mother is Gaia (he's my first stallion) so it's not like his lineage is anything rare haha.

There is a topic in the Events forum called 'looking for congratulations', you can look and post there.

You can also be proactive and go congratulate a whole heap of people. Even better if they have congratulated someone else in the last few minutes. 4 congratulations is quick and easy to get this way.

from the last page

a friend has to send you a gift through the gifting system. Ways to get this objective done without breaking forum rules are 1. to put a note on your page and congratulate your friends so that they come to your page and may see the note. 2. arrange with friends that play Howrse that you know offline that you will help each other out if any of you get this objective or 3. send a couple of friends a gift and hope they get the message.

it really does help if you have a quick scan back a couple of pages in this topic.

the current contest is the UFO catching. If you catch one and keep the prize you should validate the objective.

if you have got to the point in the Beginner Objectives where you have objective 51 and 52, sell a horse and buy a horse by direct sales, then as soon as you validate objective 50, you will unlock the direct sale tutorial and Emma will walk you through the process, selling a horse to you and then buying it back and that will validate 51 and 52.

Yes, that will work! It does not have to be completely blue, just have blue. default smiley :)

This works for giving a horse the color bonus, too. For example, if you wanted to give a horse the color bonus and use blue again, you can use blue polo wraps, a blue and red ear bonnet, and a blue and green saddle blanket. As long a there’s a color in common
