this event was okay. it got annoying how many obstacles there was and how many times i had to use the sideways move, especially since it costed more. it felt like it was harder to progress unless you spent real money, which seems to be a lot of howrse events lately, hard to enjoy because they require you spending real money if you want to make real progress.

do game creators ever read these comments??
i spent all but 3 days of this comp trying to get VV. Not once (until the very last day, on a different horse) did i get a card to counter the toy horse obstacle.
Also, on the next to last day, one of the objectives was to counter the melting snowman obstacle. i had the chance to counter two snowmen, but didnt have a card to counter with. once i did get a card, there were no snowmen to counter. i used the advance cards as wisely as possible to try and accomplish this objective, but the algorithm's failure lost me some moves! so frustrating!
game makers: if you offer an objective, put something in place to ensure it can be accomplished!

I like this one and I did get the Christmas divine at the end. I would have liked it to be longer and be given more moves each day, but by the same token it didn't take long to complete each day. Just go in and do your hike and it's done and over with in a couple of minutes.

I liked this one a lot!
The only thing I'd say is that the Divine portals should have the ability to go back in if you missed fragments. I understand locking them once the Divine is received so people aren't getting 17 cheap Vanillas or something, but there were instances where players spent passes to get the Divine, had an obstacle in the way of the checkpoint fragments they couldn't pass, and had to move sideways at that checkpoint only to find at the end they were locked and didn't get anything for their hard work, which I'd say is unfair. Especially with how random the boards could be.

I was happy enough with the event, I got VV, then was able to finish out Vanilla, Red Giant, and Hippocampus as I already had fragments for them all for a reasonable price. I did find that the divine hikes seemed to be lacking in other prizes along the way, but it probably would have mostly been small items I didn't need anyway so not too stressed about it. More 2* tack might have been nice. Overall, pretty pleased.

I found this event exceedingly dull to play and as such I did not enjoy it at all, even though I did finish the meter to get a hippocampus divine and a collection of items. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, but this would be a whole lot better if it was more engaging to interact with instead of mindlessly clicking the "action buttons".

I normally like this game but this time I was just mad. Whenever there were obstacles you got all 3+ space moves when you needed only a one space move which was very rarely offered. When you had a one space move there was a whole empty road in front of you with no prizes whatsoever to win burning up your tokens. It was so annoying I finally just quit playing the game.

Just managed to get the Christmas divine on the last day. There was no chance of trying for any of the others without spending a lot of passes . Not impressed with the whole thing.

In terms of rewards, I am very happy with what I was able to get. I had just about half of the fragments already for Red Giant and Hippocampus, so I was able to get both of them during this event. As a way to get special horses that you already have accumulated some fragments for, it worked great. I don't know how I would've felt playing as a brand new player or as someone who didn't have any fragments.
Despite the rewards, I found the progression really dull. It wasn't the most visually interesting nor was it engaging to play. Instead of a hike, it felt like a slog.

I liked the things that I spent the extra coins to get. With out fail every single time something came up that was t snow or boxes I had to pay to switch lanes. If I switched when I saw them coming up and not right next to me I wouldn't have turns so I would have to pay again to move back. That was every day. The shards are another story as you can see I didn't happen across very many of those. I did see others with the Devines so either they had much better boards then I did, got more bc they have been on here longer, have better luck than I do or they spent a ton with passes to get them. That's tough bc there is no chance I could do that! I like that you guys do things for the players and I am grateful for what I did get so thank you for that and I hope all of you had a good Christmas and a happy New Year as well.

I like the hike. I found the prizes were decent. I managed to get the Christmas Divine, Hippocampus, Vanilla, and white dwarf. I'm happy with that.
My biggest disappointment was with the main hike. I circled back around to try to get more white dwarf fragments and the fragments that were placed throughout the hike all disappeared with the exception of the checkpoint fragments. Quite the rip off. I won't be doing that again. That was a lot of wasted passes for very minimal reward.

Ended too quickly, didn't get anything from even the main hike. I feel like opening the side hikes so late was a complete waste of time and points. I did use passes to buy extra moves and still lost because of how little it was.
It wasn't awful, but I could tell pretty quickly after starting the Red Giant Hike there was no way I was getting any of the side horses.

Normally I’m not very excited about The Hike events however, I am quite pleased this time. I was able to get Miluji Te. From then on I able to relax through others. Only spent passes once and that was completely on accident. (I tried to go on not realizing I didn’t have any tokens left and when the pop up for more came up I was already pressing on that spot to go on and then had to stop for a minute and stare at my screen, like what just happened
)
Overall, quite pleased with my rewards.

Spent a more passes than last year to get divines. Too much is based on luck and got stuck moving side to side way too often
Would have liked more "checkpoints" between each fragment bunch since it's such large chunks. If you didn't have at least 400 fragments you had to finish the entire thing which made it feel like your previous fragments were moot.
Felt like the love divine was also way too expensive, but the other divines were still decently priced if paying full passes and I got pretty unlucky and spent way more than most people did even though for a few of them I had mostly finished the fragments before starting the hikes and I waited until the last weekend
In between prizes were just okay. I just got a lot of tack and Pandora boxes. I don't mind the Pandora boxes, but pretty boring prize pool during the actual hikes.
Also, this was a LONG event. It got boring waiting for most of this halfway through. Maybe because of the whole change making other events shorter that it made this one seem even longer than usual.
Overall was an okay event.

Got VV, Vanilla, and Red Giant, but spent a ton of passes to do so, I’m pretty happy with them though! I’m majorly disappointed however that it was impossible to get VV before christmas without spending thousands…

1. this was by far a much nicer event with so many choices on which divine you wanted to try for.
2. There was far too many obsticles in comparison to tokens
3. The paces that fell for you to use most often the 3 pace fell when you could only move one pace anyway. This was a very disappointing part of the event.

Well, I started with the main hike and I was quite disappointed because every time I just needed to move one space I had tokens for two spaces then toward the end of the game, I realized I could have done other hikes that were a lot shorter!and that probably would’ve been more enjoyable.

One of my favorite events by far! I love Christmas time and the Christmas theme was really cute this year and the prizes I received were great.
I got VV and Hippocampus.
I love the Christmas Divines and just had to have VV and the other one in the Christmas pack.
I thought it was really easy to progress in the event and had a relatively easy time progressing but I did have a time or three that I wouldn't have the appropriate card for whatever was blocking my path and would have to use a lane change card instead. Even still, I managed to get VV for free but did spend some passes to get the remaining few hundred fragments I needed to get Hippocampus.
Overall I'm really happy with my prizes and the Christmas event as a whole.

Didn't like this one at all. I usually do okay on the hikes but not this time. The only time I got the 3 square moves is when I could only move 1 square. Frustrating as all get out. Did not get ANY of the divines and the prizes that I did get were mediocre at best. I spent 90 passes on it which were pretty much wasted and I never spent any more.

Event could be improved by needing fewer go sideways tokens and having more places and tokens to go 3 places. I would also suggest being able to buy 1 token for 10 passes while on the hike, and being able to buy 10 token packs for 75 passes at the black market.

I got all the Divines except Miluji Te, which I already have a copy of. I also filled the rest of the meter to get White Dwarf. I purchased quite a few coins while they were on sale. I also got a silver hiking trophy, so overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the results and I don't feel like I spent too much (except maybe on White Dwarf...18 frags is low). The game itself is beyond dull and repetitive, but I liked the prizes.

Over all the Event is okayish
On my map i didnt get many rewards and for the send or receive gift 95% of the time i landed on it, it was for me to send something to another player (i got this on my board at least 10 times)
I did appreciate to win one f the christmas divines despite getting it after the 25th so missing out on the pass prize it offers
I felt time was wasted trying to get fragments for the other divines since the boards practically had no gifts what so ever except maybe 2 boring things i got....
I would suggest making the other boards more interesting as it made playing on them long and boring to get nothing

Didn't even actually play on this server, but since I did the tutorial I ended up stacking enough login tokens that I grabbed the Love divine at the end with plenty left over.
