I'm very happy. Goal was Red Giant and Hippocampus cause they were the 2 I didn't have to do the whole thing for. Only needed 2 sets of frags for each. Could have done better (gotten more) on the regular prizes if I'd been patient and waited til the switching spots price dropped. But I'm not patient. Still got:
2 parade apples
ow
snow monkey
2 custom clips
blue whale piñata
ow's pray
3 Pandora's box
4 croesus's fortunes
heel
2 arros
lunge
spursPOC
2 mash
2 manure
3 bell boots
3 red & green saddle cloth
2 whips
3 red & green ear bonnets
4 red polo wraps
2 AP
3 3* saddle
3* bridle
plus a ton of white dwarf frags. I have over 580 now.

Pretty darn pleased. If I'd properly saved and waited till the end for discounted Lane Switch cards, I'd be sitting pretty. As it stands, I paid for quite a few discounted token packs.
Got Hippocampus, Smoke, and Red Giant since I had a good chunk of their fragments. Didn't go for the main Christmas divine at all.
My main complaint is just how many obstacles the divine paths had. I know it's not meant to be a cakewalk, but having to use 5+ tokens to move 3 or so spaces gets a bit frustrating.
Again I wish you had at least one obstacle card at all times. Heck, I'd take two if you've got four card slots! But that's alright, I love that's there's a chance to fill up meters.

Hello! I need help with the ascent to Olympus event: how do you get new tokens? It's been nearly 2 weeks and my tokens haven't been renewed at all...
It says I'm supposed go receive them daily after login in but that hasn't happened. Am I missing something?

Boring!!!
Warped as can be too - you get a truckload of lousy options when you hit the 3-move cards - what a JOKE!
For real, the insanity of obstacles with the high move cards was ridiculous this time, even worse than previous editions>
I did get what I wanted, for the most part, but for real.. bored to death with this.
The only plus: Dead simple to understand, I think even my pets would understand this - if they could use the pc.

haha like StarWolfLegacy i also didnt get new tokens until very far in. It appeared as if i completed the tutorial, so i never bothered to check until quite late to see I wasnt getting the log in tokens. next time it would be nice if it was clear you had to reach the checkpoint before that was triggered. (maybe mine glitched, but there was no indication at all)
despite that, I ended up getting enough (+6 extra) to get the love divine, so at least it wasnt all lost

You have to go to the page to collect the coins each day, or else you wont get any

There is a separate forum for any questions about the Ascent which would be better in future.
To answer your question: You have to collect the obols each day. They are activated after the update and you have to go to the game and click the obol icon. That will offer you the free daily one and the chance to buy more if you ever want them.

Not my fave - slow and not engaging. Just clicking to move forward or around things, and I only got a few tack items and a couple bonus items. Admittedly, I did not participate much which probably aligns with me not getting much from the event, but I did not participate much because I did not feel engaged. It seems like only those who got the big ticket items felt it was a good event. I like events where I can apply myself, like the ascent to Olympus.

I didnt think it was boring but the obstacles should be the same in all a or hikes to be fair even-if they are rarer in harder of the portals outside main one

I wasn't much interested in most of the items this time around as I already had them / didn't need them, but I was definitely focused on getting at least two Divine horses.
Managed to get a Companion I needed as well!
Considering it did take a few extra sets of Passes (thankfully I planted some Pass Seeds before then) I managed to get to that second Divine horse.
Thankfully I had previously accumulated some Fragments beforehand, and I'm glad those were added into the game so I could try to get the remaining fragments needed.
Also, nice Yule Log, looks extra yummy!

I enjoyed this one. It required a little planning and strategy to get the best results which I enjoy even though I always make mistakes at times because I'm too impatient. I got the Divines I wanted and some good prizes so very happy with this event.

The game would have been great, if I had understood the rules. I finished the second Divine, only to learn I wouldn't get it. As I didn't understand I had to get all the fragments. I missed one. I so wanted the divine.

I got the Love horse I wanted and then went back to the main course even though I didn't really want that Divine. It was a bit confusing getting fragments for a horse that wasn't the grand prize. That took me a bit to find out. I didn't spend any passes tho so I'm always happy when I don't have to do that just to finish. Seems pretty unrealistic though to think you might get more than one of the horses. No way to do that without using passes. Would be nice if there were more choices on which one to go after. The game itself was easy to understand and seemed to be neither too hard or to easy to progress. The graphics were ok but more than once I thought the little elf avatar was standing in front of an obstacle so I changed lanes only to find out it was just the little platform he was standing on. All in all, not too bad!

I love this event, especially with the divine hike, as we can have multiple hikes in progress if we wish.
My only critique is that players said it wasn't restart any of the divine hikes. This is an issue if you missed fragments. I like that fragments were offered throughout, as I only needed 50 or so for Red Giant, and it wouldn't be worth it for me to finish the whole thing. Therefore, we should be allowed to reenter the divine hikes to pick up any gifts we missed the first go around.

I thought the art work was cute and well done for the season.
I liked that you could be as engaged in the event as you wanted to be. If you wanted to spend passes to get the Divines, it was worth it. If you wanted to only pick up free prizes daily, you had that option.
I spent a few passes to finish and get the Veselé Vánoce divine. The weekend offers with extra moves and tokens for a reduced price is appreciated.
I would suggest offering the bonus move perks sooner as more people may participate with the added value.
It was a good event. I would play it again as its fun to have something seasonal and different.

Spent a lot of passes. Really don't like getting gifts I can either buy or make. You really need to give passes as a prize every so often not just this game but the others too. Other than that game gave me something to do.

I looked forward to this event because I like to have my choice of divine to work on. It was easy to understand and play. It was hard, but I was patient and except for my fault objectives, I waited for the lane change discount to really go. I had over 700 fragments for Red Giant, so I easily got him. I also wanted VV, as many frags for White Dwarf, and good prizes, so I changed lanes more than would have been needed otherwise. I still only bought 4 packs of 10 tokens. So, for 380 passes, I got 2 divines, 711 frags toward another, and a total of 52 gifts. I got all the best prizes...T Crown, MA, Harmony Pack, Titan's Challenge, a Fleece, Victory Pack, Parade Apple, 5 Pandora's Boxes (for my Greyfells), and much much more!
I am very happy with this event. Thank you, Howrse!
