This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

I forgot release was at 10 now default smiley (h) so was still with ponies thinking I had plenty of time still. Forgot to switch auto purchase off too, but never mind, off to trawl the sales now anyhow and see what I missed.

Those coats were flying off the shelf!! Even so, this has been my most successful release yet! I got three 100 use coats out of the 5 I wanted. default smiley :-))

Tip for others trying to snag low use coats like me:

put the horses you want in a breeding farm that doesn’t have many horses that way you can find them easier and waste less time.

If you can, memorize the names of the horses you want coats on. I kept repeating the names of mine in order of which coats I wanted most so if i missed one coat I could use the search bar to go to the next one without leaving the golden apple page.

100% forgot about the release as well, too busy having fun with family over Christmas. Much more fun and no stress at least. Did grab the one higher use winged donkey, so that I can get my trophy back once it retires. What a huge release though, wow. Some cute coats I may search for in sales, but no worries if I don't get them.default smiley :) Hope all had a Good Christmas.

I really wish I was able to get that nash12 coat, there were some gorgeous coats this time around. Such a pain that I missed it. Silver lining is that I'll have even more GAs and harmony packs stocked for next month. default smiley 8-)

Hiya, does anyone know if the new riding horse RC called Jeffrey by Viserys is supposed to match the Caracal Cat-Sith? I know a couple months ago she put out a unicorn pony RC to match the Pallas Cat-Sith, so I'm wondering if this is another from that collection! default smiley (7)

I have a few coats like this, they don't show in the Golden Apple, when you are coating a new horse, but they are not silver apples either. What is going on?

sassyk, that coat is for a riding unicorn (horse unicorn), are you trying to use on a horse maybe?

This is a Pony unicorn coat. Perhaps that is why you can't find it?

That coat will retire when it hits 500? uses. It's a uni pony. It should show up unless you already have a copy and you are clicking the box that says not worn by any of my horses. Make sure you go to your uni pony's page to put the coat on. Don't rely on the directory.

In regards to the coat I mentioned above, here I have it on an appy unicorn, so its not a pony coat.

I have that coat on a Curly, but when you click it now, it is a pony uni coat. I think it must have been added to the game before the division made between horse and pony unis. I cannot think of any other explanation. To use the coat now, i think it has to be put on a pony uni, and those of use with it on a horse uni added it to our collections prior to the big division.default smiley 8-)

Hello.. Not a regular poster on this forum and haven't been for a long, long time. But still sitting on my RC collection!
I logged on for the first time in months to find a bunch of old Pre-CS GA coats had retired. A nice surprise, I had most in my collection for literal years!
Just wondering was there a forced retiring of Pre-CS coats recently? Are there any Pre-CS coats still active/available as GA?

Yes, a whole bunch of Pre CS was retired recently...like hundreds...I understand that Howrse did a massive deletion of old inactive accounts, probably to free up space. This included a lot of old inactive players who had created these coats, so when their accounts were deleted, the old coats retired.default smiley :)
