Like everyone else, I'm really disliking this change
 It's super annoying when my Autobuy picks up an RC and I can't find what the coat is called! I like to name my horse after the coat, and this is getting really annoying.I feel like howrse is pushing to become more tablet/mobile friendly with these display updates, since you couldn't tell how many uses a coat had for an RC without using a mouse, but this is just a step backwards. It was annoying having to back search for retired helios rays, but this is ridiculous.

I dont like the new update. It doesnt even help the mobile people ( I'm one of them ) if I want to see what a horses coat was I could tap on the rc and it would show me. Now it doesnt

No coats were removed, only re-categorized. So all coats should still be around.

For the first time in what feels like forever I finally managed to acquire new RC´s
  Rainbow End Pony creator: shoofly 45  Zeta Unknown creator 22  Black Beauty in Blue Unknown creator 27  Blue appaloosa creator: JuryDuty 14 They did not come cheap so I'm entirely out of passes now  On a different note I first now noticed that it doesn't tell you with the new golden Apple selection page if you have a active golden Apple coat or not, that's really going to be annoying for me I generally add golden Apple coats I stumble across that I don't have to my favourites but now I won't easily be able to tell if I have it or not.

I was slowly going thru and updating my herd with proper names now I cant..not happy at all about it.. that change before was one that all RC /GA collectors applauded.... |
Just found another thing to dislike about the new format... you can't choose a pre-creation space coat from the directories to place on a horse. It automatically has "compatible with H. Ray" ticked and if you've selected a coat, you can't change anything in the box. Pretty annoying.
Currently, we have: - Can't view the names of retired coats - Can't view the # of remaining copies a RC has - Can't see if you already have a copy of a coat - Can't choose a pre-CS coat from directories Am I missing anything?

@flame48. We can uncheck compatible with helios ray in order to get pre helios ray coats on the new format.

For some reason it does have the x already placed there flame48 but if you click it 2 times it goes back to normal. At least that's what it is doing for me. �

Yup, I’m getting the same as @flame48.
Looks like the only way to access PreCS coats now is to access them from the GA item and then manually search for them. It doesn’t work from the Creation Directory anymore. Mega oof.

Seriously? I hate this. Absolutely despise it. The only way I can check on RCs is by going to the directories and typing the *exact* copy number and going through 10 pages of horses. Please, I BEG of you change it back

I can deselect the helios ray box to see the old coats on my pc (using firefox) so it might be a browser thing?

taht would show all coats including ones compatible, i think people are talking about wanting to be able to see no-compatible coats only

I don't think we were ever able to fully de-select that filter (like we can with the directories) so that only PreCS coats would show, could we?. I remember making sure it wasn't selected, filtering by "chronology" and then going to the last pages and working backwards.
It's funny how something changes, and then a day later I forget how it used to function

I agree with above, I don't think so either, that's what i always did (have them all now) and did for the screen shot above.

I think this current ga page mess is the first thing I've totally hated as much as losing the HoG directory, and the attempt to make more copies of RCs available. Man I sure hope they hear us and change it back!

Im on an Ipad using Safari. I don’t remember how compatible Howrse is with Safari, so it might be that. I’m on classic not mobile also.
When I click on coats in the Creation Directory it grays out the options by default now. I don’t remember if it used to do this in the previous layout. The only reason I cannot access PreCS coats (from the directory, I can still access them from the BM) is because I can’t deselect the option. It’s not a gamebreaker, but it’s definitely more annoying lol. You’d think they’d be trying to encourage people to use the directory, but this change has taken away some of the usefulness of it.

You. An still see the numbers of coat is left by pressing down on silver apple and looking before it changes..

Is there any way to see the horses that are wearing a particular coat? I want to match a background to a coat but asking is against the forum rules.
