Jeeze I done think I ever seen a release go in less than 30 seconds. I didn’t even manage to pickup the pony. Ah well I suppose I’ll have to start saving.

Wow, this seems like the fastest time ever. Is it due to the fact that everyone stays home and plays the game due to the quarantine?

Is anyone seeing 101/100 for some of the coats? Or is my Howrse just glitching out? For example, the mushroom pony Lesní poník coat?

Just so you guys know, the 3 200 use coats are going REALLY fast....

This happens every once in a while. It's probably because two people selected the coat at exactly the same time and when that happens the system just gives an extra copy. Since this release was so crazy, I'm not surprised it happened to two coats.

Phew, releases were so fast today! Or was it just the internet was slow due to everyone being at home using it?
Still kicking myself for missing out on the pre-release yesterday (though only by a minute... think that went fast too!) Anyway, got 2 copies of my favourite ostrich draft.  Also got one of the pony. After that the ones I had lined up to get coats were disapointed!Actually I think I got the 101 on the pony! So sorry everyone.... Clicked it, went to white screen and stuck there. So after trying to get the rest I refreshed it, and it went back to coating page with just that one but no option to choose. But my pony on the left already had the coat....

It happens sometimes with coat release. It just means there’s an extra coat now floating around. It happens when to players hit the last coat at the same time. I’ve never seen it this many times though. In other news I’m watching a lot of the new coats being tossed into sales at some rather crazy prices.

 Does this affect the rare retired coat trophy? As in, collecting coats with fewer than 100 uses? |
It does -- they don't count for the trophy. Which I'm not happy about because I'm only going for 100 use coats for the trophy haha.

Seems like it does; Lesni Ponik has showed up under my Retired Coats trophy but not my Rare Retired Coats. Oh well, I'm sure the number will lower eventually |

I already see lots of winged fjord uni coats in the sales (and lots of them are on riding horse unis). I hope that most people put it on the ponies so that we can have it as a pony coat when the system updates next month.

RowanGreen said something along the same lines, but I don't see why it matters? ...It will be retired before they update that, and horses that are already coated with a "wrong" species won't lose the coat. So the question of whether the winged uni is deemed a riding winged uni or a pony winged uni will have exactly zero effect on anything. I put it on an arab, because  the coat has the build of a horse, and  I didn't have a fjord uni that I wanted to coat.

Whooo! Managed to snag the pony coat for equus. But more than I wanted to spend, but I got the little guy all the same.

If most of the coats (>50 in this case) are put on riding horses, it will be categorized as a riding horse winged unicorn coat, instead of a pony winged unicorn coat. It doesn't really matter though since it is a retired coat and you can't get more copies. If you have it on a fjord already it will not be gone.

What do you mean "it will not be gone"? Will the coats that are on Riding horses disappear?

Hover over a message posted by someone else (you can't quote yourself) and then, just to the right of the timestamp, you should see two little icons. One is a frowny face, to report the post, and the other looks like, well, a quotation symbol I'm not sure how you would do it on a phone, though.

No. Whatever has been put on your horse will not disappear, no matter it is an RC or not. It will just affect the coat categorization (Trophy, Creation Directory, etc). If the coat is still available and categorized as a pony uni coat, you can't put it on a riding horse uni.
