Hello:

I am on a desk top with regular size print...100% scale size.
It has gotten harder for me to see so sometimes I make
the print a little bit bigger between 110 and 150%.

It has not been a problem until this year when I complete
the objectives a few minutes before the update. The update warning goes right
over where you click to receive the passes.

I have/had the same problem with one of the events...opening the crystal chests to
collect the gifts right before the update when the 15 minute warning would appear.

I had to make the print so small I could barely see the print.
I just checked the dates and it started with opening the chests in January 2024
...this year. I do not know why, because I have not changed anything on my end.

You've said you've tried making the print smaller, but have you tried zooming out your browser window? (CTRL+scroll out with the mouse wheel). It sounds like you're in a small window if the update message bar is on top of the validation boxes like that

Hello:

I cannot remember if I've tried that or not. I think I will try that tonight after the update.
I did my objectives after the update for today so I will need to test it tomorrow.
Thank you for the good tip. I will post back to let you know what happens.

Just sharing my thoughts on the dev log.

Improved interface.
5*
Don't personally use it, but I'm sure it will be a life saver for a lot of players.

Lucky items frags
1*
Don't like the change. I think it was fine how it was. Also, I'm a little sus that they haven't released the fixed rate or more on how it is choses. Personally, I would have preferred they adjusted the prices to match prizes rather than fiddled with the luck items themselves.

Ascent

Hippolyte
3*
Nice but I don't particularly care either way.

New Ascent history
5*
Love it

Ascent History on public profiles
3*
Personally, don't care. Don't see why I need two copies, or why anyone would care how someone else is doing in the Ascent, but that is just me.

New notifications
5*
We didn't get much info on the type of notifications, but I think it should be good or neutral. I don't see a way it would backfire. And those who don't want them can turn them off which is always good.

Starry Auras
3*
Went neutral on this as I have never got or used a starry aura.

New trophy
Didn't rate.
To be honest, I don't really know why they even told us. Probably so the change isn't out of the blue. However, it is that vague it is practically useless. Didn't feel fair to rate it at this time. Might later if I remember.

Bugs
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I'm so glad that the special horses carousel is fixed!!

I do not like the new fixed fragment amounts either. I received 14 fragments each time for the Titan's Challenge for Saturn. Considering you need 1000 fragments and the Titan's Challenge are 200 passes each T.C. (1000 fragments needed divided by 14 fragments received each T.C = 72 Titan's Challenge needed) 72 Titan's Challenge needed X 200 passes each = 14,400 passes needed for one Saturn that gives 50 passes per month if you log in correctly.
If you purchase the 15,500 purchase pack, the largest pass pack, for 150 U.S.D you could get Saturn for almost 150u.s.d. I am not sure how much it would cost in pounds. The old way was less expensive.
I gave up trying to purchase Saturn but I did get some nice prizes on the way.... Aphrodite's Tears, Black Orchid, Pandora's Box but then I lost some of the nice prizes if/when you go to the next level to win Saturn...since Saturn was on level 7. I finally stopped trying to win Saturn and collected a few black market items...so not a total loss.

I had several Tyche's Crown saved from previous contests. It gave 32 fragments of the Super Nova for each Tyche's Crown so I finally did win the new divine, Super Nova. I am very glad now I saved all of my Tyche's Crown to offset the cost. I did get some very nice prizes from the Tyche's Crowns too, that I could keep.

I hope this will help anyone trying to collect divines in the future. Try to save all of your luck items for a divine or something you really want. It will help off set the cost. I do hope they
go back to the way it was before and not have a fixed amount of fragments since the
fragment amounts appear to very small.

Yeah the Divines being priced upwards thing was my fear when they announced the set fragment rate, I was tentatively hoping though not really expecting them to maybe set it towards the middle of the old drop range so there wouldn't be crazy-high inflation but once again my hopes were unfounded, so. Looks like I'm done with luck item Divines now. End of an era for me since I actually liked going for them as a little bonus treat on here sometimes, but 150 dollars is insane and there's not a single one in their entire lineup worth that amount to me.

Higher ranked solars used to have a range of 9-19, so 14 is likely in the middle for Saturn.

The 14 fragments for Saturn was in the middle of his prior range. This is my comparison of then vs. now:

I won Saturn 3 years ago, and the fragment range was 9-19 then. I had a lot of hits that were on the low side of 14, usually 11-14.

I spent the equivalent of 10,800 passes to win him on level 7 (winning 225 jackpot fragments), so I didn't have to max the meter. Assuming I did, taking the average 14 amount would have meant another 3200 fragments, for 14k total.

The cost for Saturn really didn't change. We'll have to see more luck offers to see if they take the average of the old ranges for them as well. Supernova's cost is also the same as most new Crown divines.

I had hoped that the fixed amount would bring the cost down, but given that the Change Log says it's to provide a "more fair and predictable experience" I guess that wasn't the intent. It's just to make the fragment drop the same for everyone

I didn't realize the Solar drop used to be that low, I knew they were expensive but 9 fragments is crazy. I had always thought the lowest of the low ranges was 11.

I guess in that sense I'm glad the cost wasn't spiked like I thought but the fixed price even at the level of expense they were before isn't very good either. I'm not 100% sure what the point of the change was in this case if it didn't really alter the price at all and took the "luck" aspect out of luck items. Ease of calculation I guess?

Yes it is easier to see what the worst case scenario is each time. The luck element is still there in the sense that you might strike the jackpot and get the Divine in a few tries. (I wish!!!!)

Hello. I have a question about the randomness in the Tyche's Crown. A lot of passes have been spent, but will he still give me 32 pieces each? Because the passes are over, and 732 pieces of Supernova are available. Is everything really that bad in the random Tyche's Crown? Didn't the players deserve a random not 0.0001%, but, I'm sorry, at least 1 or 2%. Annoy. default smiley :'(

There was an update to fragments on February 13. Fragments from luck items are no longer random, but are fixed to a specific amount for each divine's offer. 32 is what you get for Supernova. There is still the chance to luck out and find the jackpot amount of fragments.

You can read about that update in theChange Log

I like the new changes. Love the new accent icon to keep track of games won. It's fun to compare and analyze your game compared to others. I find it helpful. I hope there will be a ranking category for accent in the future as it will encourage more people to play if there is public acknowledgement. I also hope more trophies go up for accent as time goes on, as it makes the game more fun when you are trying for a certain goal and not just trying to win the game.

I'm happy about the consistency in Divine fragments. It's easier to calculate how many passes will be needed to fill the meter should I truly go all out. The latest promo with Supernova was not too expensive to fill the meter considering the prize payout and the general coolness of the divine. Especially after winning a great deal of the fragments in the Great Challenge. By the way, the Great Challenge could use another name considering it is not particularly challenging. Especially to players playing over a few months.

Overall I'm very happy with Howrse and the game seems to be more fun for me then it used to be. Especially now that we have Accent of Olympus.

Love the balancing minus the events coats being worth +11 and not +12 or +13. They were originally worth +6 and +7. It feels like it cheapened the value of these coats relative to the "ordinary" coats like the vintage apple.

Like I said though, other than this I really like the update.

Happy with this although berettaindy_37 is correct, the wondering horse and others should be a little higher than the apples.

Oh and it wasn't mentioned but I'm guessing that Ghost rider ( BOM's ) and Bellum ( SOA ) will have the additional points.
Will be nice to see them back in the prix ! default smiley (l) these coats.

So Magic Hat and Bat coats become pretty useless. Why? Many coats have not been changed at all. Why? Also, falabella bonus no changed. This bonus used to give nearly 40 seconds of advantage, now it's less than 10.

Delighted with almost everything (maybe 95%) of the new coats thing. I have a huge stash of coat items saved up because they have not been good enough to use on my better horses, no matter how much I'd really like to use them. Now they're all valuable again for Grand Prix and rosette horses, so yay! default smiley <:o)

Why do you think this?
Basically all of the coats changed to bring them up to par with the Rainbow Iris combined with button plaiting, braid and clip (+14 per skill). Instead of them being +5 they are ALL +11. Fairy and Bat coats are not useless. They are now +11 standard with an extra +3 when their coat bonus triggers (for a total of +14). If anything they are the best 2 coats now to compete against the Rainbow Iris.

Why would the Fala bonus change? It's not a coat. And why would you say it used to give nearly 40 seconds advantage? I'm not understanding what you mean about seconds. The Fala bonus gives +9, +8, +7 to the top 3 skills of the comp that triggered the bonus.

Are there are plans to bring the changes to the ec from February to the classic version? I understand that mobile is a lot more tedious to use, but it does get really repetitive having to set off multiple different productions at a time when using the classic version, especially when you are doing it several times a day and have the full 5 workshops.
