Yep! They've basically devalued coats and companions - why will people pay for specific companions/coats when it now makes 0 difference because the 'collections' are unattainable.

The players with the really low copy coats (like 1c coats) are shaking their fists and dancing right now

Oh great, that ugly hideous page is here. Congratulations howrse, you've put me off events, objectives and now more recently I can't stand my trophy page (which I will NOT be using) nor the visual pollution on my profile page. The overview for my trophies are gone and now they're a pain to navigate. I hate this change, thank you for ruining some of the good game interace just to replace it with non-functional visual pollution that doesn't even tell you your progress towards trophies let alone the rewards you get.

I HATE this update, thank you for ruining a feature that was actually good. Again. Well done Howrse, not the.presses at all.

I'll be closing the trophy page that I kept open while working my mares to check the foals' coats.. I can't stand looking at that visual pollution. You can keep your trophy page, I won't be using it any more.

And well done for completely ignoring all the testers who pushed to have the ugly page added as an extra instead of ruining a good feature to add it. Way to go to show that you card about your players. Then again, this is Howrse.. since when does feedback actually matter here??

Or maybe this is just Howrse doing their best to make me buy passes to get VIP so that I can get that visual pollution off my profile page and never look at it again

Oh yes and thank you for ruining the trophy display on our player pages by changing the meaningful stuff into hideous visual pollution that reflects back to the new hideous ugly page that you ruined our trophies to add. Very much appreciated, not.

As someone who collected breeds, coats, and coats for items such as 5th elements etc.... this kind of blows as I worked on those for the trophies, and for them to show up on my page to feel the achievement. Did they get rid of a bunch of trophies? Even with selecting which category was shown, I feel like there was barely any there. Also, im not sure if other people have different ones show up or what, but why even offer a gold and diamond trophy if the only gold one I see to obtain is having 1000 senority? Not to mention I dont even see a diamond one? Why are almost all of them valued at bronze? I've been playing for years and buy passes and have yet to get anywhere with the grand prix and rosettes. Why are those trophies BRONZE?!

Honestly it's hideous.

This has to be one of the most misjudged game updates I've ever seen...

Also, im very confused on what they mean for the apples items and such to count. I have vintage apple coats but none of them are contributing to my collection on the collections page. How do I fix this? Honestly do I even bother fixing it? I only collected stuff like that for the trophy associated with it and to show on my page but if those don't count anymore what's the point?

A small update - the trophies shown are not the only ones for that category, you get another to work towards afterwards. I am now on IV for dragons and it requires 750. This is still a bronze, so it's either these trophies are one type or there are going to be tons for the divine categories, which will finally become more valuable trophies.

I'm utterly confused at this new trophy system. Took me a few minutes of clicking around the trophy page in total bewilderment to go to the collections page and see everything there. I almost never even touch those dropdown menus during my game, because I was so used to seeing our old beautiful trophies garnishing my page and going directly there via clicking on them.

I want to point out this isn't a bad idea, being rewarded for earning trophies is a generous bonus and I do like being able to see what trophies are up next and how much progress I've made. It's reminiscent, if I remember correctly, the organization of the original objectives system. That being said the organization of the whole venture is truly horrible, with seemingly random trophies on the trophies page appearing as next to do. The list of trophies widget is ugly, and the trophies don't appear to make any sense. The next trophies under 'Customization' for me are Golden apple VII, Special coats V, and Companions IV. Is that all? What about Retired coat trophies? Do they not exist anymore? Why do golden apples have trophy objectives but not a collections page?

As a casual collector I liked being able to click on every trophy from my page and see what I DID have. You used to be able to click the collector's trophy from your page and see every coat you owned and what it looked like in one place in miniature. The collections page is HIDEOUS, showing all the coats that exist per breed in no particular order. I can no longer find out what coats I DO own easily, and now the only way to see what you own is to go to the directories and look it up. There isn't even a golden apple collections page from what I can tell, only a retired coat one. So now what will happen to the popularity and value of golden apple coats?


Also, I can't find ANY diamond trophy objectives. Where are they? Why can't I see what requirements THOSE trophies are? Shouldn't I be able to see all the trophies that I can earn for each category? Wouldn't it make sense to see the category of trophy and all the possible rankings of trophies you can achieve for them, and how far along you've progressed?

WHY can I only see three of the trophies I've recently earned, instead of all the ones I own? WHICH ONES DO I EVEN OWN? There used to be a trophy for collections of Zodiac divines, does that not exist anymore? There are over 24 different collections of special horses, but only 7 different trophies exist in the special horses section of trophies for me: Zonkey, Grail, Yggdrasil, Fairy Tale, Precious Metals, Musketeer and Dragons. Of which type of special horse I own ZERO except for Yggy.

I feel like I'm in a fever dream. So many questions. This is a horribly executed update.

First impression. Confusion. I do not seem to have received credit for some things. Perhaps those will update tomorrow?

Second impression... The amount of prizes I have won for my trophies - oh wow wow wow There was even a Falabella, a Tarpan and a Tianma (in Fairgreen Stud, aka 'Laxative Boy' ) among them

Third impression... I need to figure out how all this works

I just wish they went with a different series than the fairy tale divines for these trophies, I have 20 if I counted right and only got 4 plot elements, 2 only because I didn't get around to working two for the first time, which always results in an element found. If we take those 2 guaranteed ones out, it worked out at 1 element per 9 divines.

Serious question, has anyone ever gotten 2 for 2 elements from a fairy tale divine? I never have and I have worked them the majority of the time they have been on the game

Aha, so there's some cut-off point that's fairly recent for some things rather than taking into account what we've done lifetime. Excellent thought that we no longer lose trophies.

How will this affect the overall general ranking in the game? The number of trophies contributes a small weighting to our score and I've put a huge amount into making it to second and trying to narrow the gap in a bid to hit No.1 someday. I'll be checking that table tomorrow with a sense of apprehension

The positive? I finally have reason to work towards aging the tree horse

Honestly, instead of removing the piggy bank system - which has no sense to me at all, because the buyer spends more than the seller gets - they have decided to change the trophy page. What's up next? Change the wandering horses as well?

Honestly, I'm not even surprised Howrse went through with everything in the same way they presented it in preprod, just disappointed. I genuinely do not understand the need for testing versions when you never take into account ANY of the feedback you get. Majority of the testers weren't happy with these degenerate changes, just how the players on live version now aren't. The gifts are an awesome idea, but you should've just added achievements and left the rest as is.

Sorry but this new trophy page is horrible and do not like it at all, please bring back the old one.

Well I'm not a collector of anything really so I cant comment on that. I do know that seeing the trophies like this with pointers to the next ones I can get will inspire me to work a bit harder and be more focussed on them. Getting the opportunity to win BMs and Divines must particularly be a huge incentive to the newer players.

Before I really only looked at trophies to see which coats of a series I still hadn't got or which companions/Divines it was worth looking or paying for. Now there are actually rewards for doing that it I think it will be much more interesting.

And new trophies - thats good. And no Golden Horseshoes - even better

i'm autistic and i just thought i was being overdramatic not liking the change to the trophy/collection pages.. glad to see i'm not the only one!

my main use of howrse was to collect the trophies for coat collection, now it seems pretty pointless as the coat trophies don't show up anymore.

the one thing i do like is being able to see what the horse coats look like in large now - so i can see the nicest ones to collect first! i also like getting rewards for achieving trophies. other than that i'm unhappy with the trophy page changes.

Finally an update that actually rewards players for doing game mechanics and collecting instead of just useless pictures and numbers. Gives so much more to do and aim for.

I hate almost everything about this. I like getting prizes and all, but what's the point in half these trophies?

I saw trophies as kinda useless before because it just checked a box.

Im glad im actually going to get rewarded for playing the game and not just paying 2500 passes for a silly bee companion or whatever.

I can't figure it out either, it's very confusing on the surface, or maybe I'm just old!

I also gained these three divines, which are much appreciated, but I'm a little upset that seemingly all my hard work, not To mention the passes and equus spent, to collect coats, companions, backgrounds and special item coats seems to now not really count for anything.

I'll still collect, and I am not interested in my rank/ppaying competitively but I won't lie it was nice that my somewhat obsessive collecting had elevated my trophies so highly in the old system.

My very first reaction was "oh no!" but now I've had a proper look, I think I just need to get used to it. I've got a few divines as gifts and have sort of worked out how it works. Time and familiarity I think - I've been horrified before at things that I end up liking!

Yikes! I am not normally one to complain, but the trophies ARE ugly. I wish I could get it off my profile page because it is also useless. I click on them and they give no information.

Although I appreciate the 28 gifts I earned for my hard work, this new system is confusing and hard to see what I have and what I am working on.

It says that I have 4 diamond trophies, but I can only tell what 2 of them are.

I am not sure how I would rate this when I have gotten used to it, but right now, I really don't like it.
