Agree - but f they want feedback I still give it.
IF they actually read what I wrote, it will be crystal-clear to them that I am fed up with many of the recent changes. With each change the money grabbing is getting worse and worse.
The aggressive approach has the opposite effect on me. I just don't spend RL $ at all. The more they push the less I care.

That patch wasn't about players not wanting to spend passes on the game, it was about the setup being laid out in such a way that it was VERY easy to spend passes by accident. Spending passes is fine, but people (rightfully) didn't like the fact that oftentimes all it would take was one misclick or even forgetting to click "use from my inventory" and they'd be out 100-300 passes or more.

Howrse has a right to earn money, but that money should be earned by being willingly given, not from having a bad layout that takes people's money without their permission. So this really IS a better setup all around.

Ok so I must of missed something…iris’ coat is not longer in the collection tab under special coats. Can’t find it anywhere. Has hoarse decided to get rid of it or is it an issue? It’s annoying you can’t go back and re read the change logs to see if they decided to get rid of it, can’t keep up with the changes

By collections I mean where they had pictures - if you have you would say “see breeding farm” and if you didn’t it would say “see sales”.

I’m only clarifying as some people might think I’m on about trophies page (100 points = prize)

The Iris coat is not part of collections at the moment. I don't know why but have asked for it to be included. It would not hurt to do a feedback to Contact Us as if enough people ask for it they are more likely to restore it (I hope)

I logged on this morning to be VERY pleased with the survey and the new updates! I hope Howrse really is listening to players, It sounds like they will! Also some of the updates are great.

I actually loved that they added an entire section to the code of conduct about talking to mods and admin. Ever since the trophy change some players have been down right jerks to the mods and admin both. It's nice to see Howrse standing up for their employees/volunteers!

I logged on this morning and was very disappointed that still nothing has changed or been said about the Trophies. The developers know if they are planning to appease any of our requests or complaints. Being silent isn't helping anybody....if it's no, then speak up.

I also wish they would fix the Rewards videos as now it has been almost a year since they have worked for me. Contacts response is; "they are working on it." Really??

These are my two biggest gripes but the Trophy change has literally ruined the game for me.

My opinion of the survey is it is just another bone to make us think they care about the players.

I'm going to give it a couple of weeks, as I do understand changes take time. However, I get the frustration. I've done these surveys before. While this one seems a bit more specific, I've watched so many things get swept under the rug in my many years of playing. I'm talking about issues that could easily be adjusted to appease players, not small issues here and there. Those are to be expected in every game. The big ones, no, I can't just ignore those.
We've lost so many players who have played for years. Sure, Howrse will get its new audience, but the lack of enthusiasm for so many is real. To be honest, I'm mostly here just to train here and there, chat with my friends, and roleplay.

You can bet when it came to the "magic wand" question, I said many things. I didn't just spout out frustrations, though, I did mention potential, reasonable solutions that would benefit the Howrse community.

I really do wish they'd just be honest about this. If the answer IS no, then they should just tell us. People would be upset sure, but at least then we'd know and could move on or decide for ourselves if we want to continue with the game under its current model.

If the answer is "yes but it's going to take a while, please be patient" then can they not simply say that? I would be willing to be patient but instead we just get non-answers about how there's "no information" after 4 months which seems unlikely.

I really do think at this point the answer is "we're not changing things" but they just don't want to say it cause they're afraid of losing more players. :/

No-one is being dishonest about anything. We are always told about any major changes when preprod opens to actually test them. If changes are not going to be made there is nothing to say and never has been.

After 3 months all my experience says the only changes that might be made to the trophies and collections will be minor and we will be told when they happen and not before. The best thing is to accept that the new format is here to stay and we will all have to accept it and move on.

When a big wave if complaints is happening developers are expected to give feedback and it is a mandatory for pretty much all respected companies big and small. The thing is, not everyone want to "accept" things and move on. A lot of players are sitting on the edge and considering to abandon the game completely. Therefore it would be nice to get some kind of clarification even if they are not going to change anything.

If people want responses to their complaints they need to take them to Contact Us. The forums are only used for players to give feedback. They have never been an area for discussion about business plans and what might happen in the future. That is the way it has always worked here and I don't see it suddenly changing just because a few players cannot move on. Sorry if that upsets you but I am only saying what has always happened and I have been here a very long time..

But this is the forum where our concerns and complaints DO get read! It's not really a discussion, people are still complaining and giving feedback on the decisions Howrse admin have made. The comments are aimed at the Admin and are asking for clarification - most players have also sent this into contact us!



It seems to be more than a few! Most players have continued with their game as usual but remain deeply unhappy at the trophy changes - an attitude which has been reflected in this forum, to contact us, and through the survey sent out.

This isn't a small change, its a huge change that has had a huge impact on the way the game is played, the treatment of the players, and the real-life loss of money.

That's why we are continuing to give feedback and requesting clarification from the Admin team.

None of this is directed at Mods, or Echow, and we have a right to keep letting the admin team know the issues we have with their changes!

Yes, of course. And they have been told all of it. I'm just saying that if you want a response other than the one EchOw has given you are not likely to get it in this forum. It has never happened that way and, in my opinion, it never will. I don't mind if I get proved wrong but I really think that is unlikely.

Okay, thank you for clearing that up! I misinterpreted "there is nothing to report" as "there probably IS something to report but we're just not going to tell you what it is" and not "if there's any changes coming we'll tell you but there aren't any right now" so that was my mistake.

Done that more than once concerning the Trophies and all I receive is their blanket response. At least here you know there are many, many others who feel the same way.

It's just sooo ridiculous.....why on Earth would the 'Next trophies' be Evolution! II or Memory II when you can't possibly achieve those because those events aren't even running???

Who is thinking up this stuff??
