-- Hmmm....this is all they could come up with in a month's time?? How about something that actually improves the game so that we CAN recommend it? That's a novel idea.....

what a waste of a Dev's corner. who else would like to use the "new" rating system to give it 1 star. How many people actually use the rating system? i honestly don't even remember the last time i was on the page it's on.

I totally agree, that clicking the lowest star will give them a 20% increase in approval. I'm not clicking any stars anymore unless the first one is a 0.

i just went to the page to see it and it's not even there.

Was it even worth taking the time to tell us this? You couldn’t just implemented it and we’d have understood

From the change log: "It used to appear once a month, but from now on, it will appear every time a new contest goes online."

If you guys are in need of some ideas/some inspiration:

Bulk production in the workshops would be nice.

The game has been lagging consistently for like two years now which actively discourages many players from playing as frequently/as competitively as they might otherwise, and possibly discourages some players from buying passes.

Prioritizing fixing that would definitely be a very smart business decision.

Some new emojis would be welcome.

There's a topic in the vip forum that's full of wonderful, useful, game changing ideas that players actually want/would actually make players happy.

Ok. Since you're not giving us what seemingly *most of us* want (the return of the trophies as they were) here's some other feedback for things that would actually help with the game.

The ability to have more cropland/greenhouses. There's no reason why an EC with 500+ boxes should be stuck with the same 6 fields/houses that it gets when it started. Give new ECs the ability to use several to start (as the game runs now) and then bump it up every (insert # of boxes)
(or)
you could keep the prestige ranking you have with the workshops and just add ability to use more fields/houses with 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%

There's also coats like the animated ones or the sherlock series that can't be filtered for, so adding an option for that to sales would be great

"These SEEM like minor changes" are they not...? All they did was switch the ranking system from 1/10 to 1/5 which, as has been pointed out, gives them an approval boost since now the lowest you can rate is 10% higher in approval than it was before. I also fail to see how this "gives them a better idea of what features players like" since the rating system has been made LESS accurate (fewer options, lowest score is now "not as bad" as it was before).

I mean, who really knows WHAT they're trying to do, it could be just cause people find the star system easier to visualize, but I still wouldn't call this a "significant" change.

Also, "it went from once a month to every time a new contest goes online" so... once a month to every three and a half weeks? BIG alteration right there.

yeah I can almost 100% guarantee you the "we're getting more in-tune with users" or whatever they're gonna brush it off as is absolutely a lie. it's so they can tell us "well you rated it better so you're just lying that you think it's worse" or so they can claim to the shareholders that player morale is magically higher than it's ever been. funny how that works, ain't it

I agree with you completely.


We have the Inspector Lestrade coat, Mary Morstan (Watson) coat, and Mrs. Hudson coat.
It ends there with no other coats, and no way to find them in the sales.
I am hoping more Sherlock Holmes coats and divines will be coming in the future, but I noticed something else, too.

When you look under the Collections tab, there is not even a list for the Sherlock Holmes coat collections. They do not even count for a trophy.

We have a Sherlock Holmes Adventure horse series with:
Dr. Watson, Irene Adler, and Professor Moriarty but none of them give any Sherlock character coats.

I am hoping this is something the howrse team is working on. That would be a lot of fun to be able to collect all of the character coats, the character divines and have all of them to count for a trophy, too.

Please think about it.

PASS SEEDS

Maybe you could make pass seeds appear at the begining of the day let's say as soon as the update is. Make it like 25 passes to be sold and ounce they're gone you can only get more after the daily update. PS it would only be fair if there was a limited amount you could buy after 3:00.

Someone suggested that a few years back. The response was right before the winter/Christmas holidays they allowed everyone to have a chance to buy pass seeds
from a very limited amount of pass seeds. They announced when they would go on
sale and they were all gone in less than 2 seconds. You can kind of compare it to the
100 limited edition of Golden Apple coats. They disappear in 1 -3 seconds. We now
have a Fairy Tale horse who gives pass seeds. Jack and the Beanstalk who gives
either 25 pass seeds or 15 pass seeds. I have had 2 Jack's since May 2023 and
so far have received only 15 pass seeds from each one in August 2023. The Fairy
Tale horses seem to take a very long time before they give you anything.

Daily would be way too frequent, not only would the site likely lose a lot of money due to the amount people could buy, but it would probably also massively decrease the value of the divines that offer them, which isn't fair to those of us that spent a lot to get the divines in the first place. Pass seeds are a lot more common than they used to be, they used to only really be offered on the server's birthday and other special occasions, but now we see them semi frequently as prizes in promos as well.

No need for pass seeds in store on daily basis. It won't make them more accessible. Just less special.

Anything strictly limited in time and quantity makes servers crush and people get mad over Internet, connection, freezes, other people, etc.

(You crave pass seeds first few months in game. I still remeber this feeling. Got first seed (1) from custom UFO and spent a week or so visiting back that profile )

But they are offered frequently enough lately.
I already got 25 seeds from this event from prize cards (luckiest draw, I know, I know <3)

Am I the only one seeing a Howrse - Breeding forum under the EC classifieds with all the messages blank and from 2008?

No everyone sees it. They are in the process of revamping that forum from what I understand.

What's it going to be for though is what I'm wondering. If it's only for questions about breeding and BLUPing it seems odd to make a whole new forum just for that when Game Play and the Help section already cover it?

Unless it's for offering public covers and such? But I'd also be very surprised if that was the case.

Oh, they just updated. I guess it is for BLUP and breeding questions. Public BLUP schedules make sense, though, since there really aren't any at the moment and the only ones are in player forums.
