I'm sorry but the new trophy icons are atrocious smh

Okay, I need to get another zonkey - I have plenty of Jenny to bred but my zebra - well, he can't do it --- how do I get the items to allow him to breed ??? not offered during promo - can't get it --- yes, my fault, didn't realize that Zebra could only do 1 covering - and IF you had the jenny

so I dealt with it when it first came out - but on it's a trophy -- just like that grand prix -- out of reach

Awful, just plain awful. As can be seen most players agree it was totally unecessary update and ruined a system that worked well for years. If it aint broke, don't fix it! I guess the developers of this game never heard this phrase. Honestly, it really makes me pose a question whether it is worth keep playing if you put changes that get so mich backlash and don't care about the users. All the progress for so many players, including myself got lost. Replaced by generic ribbons that say nothing. No specific number of how many you need to achieve the ribbon, the prizes are so unecessary honestly, the goals so high that most players won't be able to achieve. I see the trend is now to ruin a business along with Netflix and Twitter. Good luck guys. Let's see who will go bankrupt first!

While getting rewards for earning trophies was nice, everything else about this update is not. Visually, the pages look cheap and incredibly unappealing, not to mention you cannot see each individual trophy by appearance alone. The collections pages are too clunky not to mention a large portion of them are completely impossible to complete as they involve promos. What made the old trophies so appealing to old players was their ability to be easily identified by their appearance and the condensed nature of them being on one page. The collections are on multiple pages which does not encourage easy use. I could probably go on for much longer but considering the game's current history with changes, It would just be a waste of my time. Kudos to the programmers who spent time building those pages but this is not a change I will enjoy.

Thanks for the tip. I like to use my own males for breeding whenever I can to save money, and looking through the public cover offerings to find a specific (rare) coat seems like a lot of work. I'll definitely try though. (:

Shouldn’t be called trophies anymore. “Achievements,” maybe. But I think most people can agree we don’t like the ribbons… or the fact that you can’t see a list of the trophies you or other players have. And now I don’t particularly care to collect coats, because it doesn’t show up on my page, or count as a trophy. It wasn’t a bad idea to include rewards, or a trophy meter, but the rest should go back to normal :/

The new trophies definitely change the play strategy. I get the purpose is to reduce the number of horses on the server. I am definitely going to start culling, but it is not as much fun either.

I've been playing on and off for years and I really like the update. I really like the rewards and the new collection and trophy pages layout. But the new trophy symbol is absolutely horrible. Just change the trophy symbol and trophy displays on players pages back and it'd be much better.

the change doesn't really affect me. i'm not a big time collector. having the trophies on my page doesn't matter to me. but i can see why people are mad. the one part i don't like is the massive change to the droppings trophy. i know it's pretty in significant to most but i worked really hard and long to get the top trophy in the droppings. made sure to keep it above the needed amount. when i had extra i made manure. only sold when i had the obj. For me this was a very achievable trophy that cost me no extra money. now with the changes the almost 46000 poo i have in my inventory isn't even enough for silver level 9. and from what i heard to get level 12 (gold) i need 500,000 poo. I can't even imagine what it will be for the even higher levels.

I am REALLY disappointed about the golden apple and others.... I have a big collection and now its not even taken into account. I DONT CARE how many i put on horses but i have spent so much time and resources on collecting GAs and now nothing reflects that....

Is there an option to see our old trophies or make them visible still? Like an archive just like for the cards collection from old events? And have that option available on our presentation page? These ribbons don't give the same feeling of achievement when they look so watered down in every possible way.

Well I’m not a fan of how the trophies look but I did get some lower divines which are nice and some good bmi. I like the old look but the new system if that makes sense?
Overall not bad

Having looked closer I didn't lose as much as I initially thought I did, it's just all hidden under "collections" now. Where you can't even see it. That said, I DID lose a bunch. My RA by species is gone, my GA by species and color is GONE, and I didn't spend nigh-on 1000 passes on those just to have them taken away in one fell swoop, you know?

VERY upset. I suppose it's too much to ask for people who are ON this game as collectors to be given a refund for the trophies that we LOST with this stinking update, but some of us did.

Does anyone know if we need to keep a horse/pony of each coat to keep our progress in the collections (like the old trophies)?

Not to mention, they used to stagger. If you collected 25 GA or what have you, you'd get a little trophy that SAID that and you could slowly work your way towards getting the bigger ones. You had something you could display and feel proud of. Now they're just all tucked away under a tab in Collections with a "1%" so you feel like you didn't achieve anything. :/

I know a lot of people have issues with the updates, but I honestly love them. I never really saw the point in collecting trophies before just to be like "hey look I did a thing". I'd MUCH rather get rewarded for doing things so I'm absolutely thrilled with the updates. The trophies did LOOK better before, but again I'd much prefer getting rewarded with BMIs and possible divines over having a cool looking trophy on my page that doesn't do anything, yenno? Overall I'd say I give the updates 4.5/5 stars.

Also, is Tarpan the first """""reward""""" you get or do you get some before him?

I'm not clicking that button until I can be sure to avoid him. If nobody knows I'm just gonna skip the rewards entirely, they stink and I'm not having another reason for my game to be messed up without my consent. They don't even feel like rewards. Bad ones, considering how awful Tarpan is.

I agree that it's nice to get rewards for trophies, but I think the big issue for a lot of collectors is that some of the trophies have been move to collections and effectively lost.

For instance, I spent months, and probably hundreds of passes/equus completing my coat colour trophy, only for that work to be a measly collection that doesn't reward me with anything anyway. Plus, I can't display that on my page either. I can't even imagine how the big RC collectors are feeling right now.

If this had been in place, along with the rest of the collections that are physically impossible for me to get 100% on, I just wouldn't have bothered collecting the coats

I like the rewards. BUT THATS IT. why change the way that it shows trophies and things like that? they could've kept the cool looking trophies and implemented a reward system. Could've done it, I promise. maybe i should be a developer but on a real note, these updates are horrible. Not fun, and it doesn't even look good on our pages. seems that Howrse shouldve had this tested first....

this is exactly how i feel. pointless, dumb, and plain ugly

they should just revert to the way it was before and find a way to introduce rewards. but yk, thats my opinion

what on earth was the point in changing the trophies? Surely a bunch of items have just plummeted in value?!?! To think of the amount of time I have spent collecting them just for you in 2023 to NOT have a way to fix more than TWENTY boxes at a time?
