I directed the players on UK to look here as they do not know a thing!
So we have cows now? That's cool... I've always wanted cows on this game. I can't wait to start making some saddles and bridles for my E.C. When you resell leather, does anyone know the cost? Also, when will the effect of the places of E.C. come into play?

at the next set of changes
treehugger123-

cows will be like the apples, you "plant" them.. then have to wait 30 real days to harvest...

the resell on leather is 5e ( since you can buy it in the store for 10e).. as for the items you crafted, it will depend upon what made so a 1* item will get you approximately 100e per item.
Yes.. the overall prestige of your EC will affect how many workshops you can have at one time...

Thanks, horsekitty! Wasn't sure. I did read the bit of info that ShorahNagi had put on the page before.

Will only Western EC's have cows?

NOpe - English ECs can have them too (Western ECs just have a bit of an extra perk because:

Click to display
When they lose their Calves at the end of the month for cutting comps. - they will earn back some leather.

But all ECs can raise Cows on their meadows. They take 30 days to grow, and are a 1 time Harvest.

And it has been confirmed by the Admins - Rain has no effect on Leather Production (So you'll get the same amount of Leather with or without her)

@ShorahNagi regarding rain

Click to display
I got the same amounts of leather even *with* Rain's perk, therefore she has no effect on the amount. (:

@Laur

Thank you for that, other reports gave me the same thing...and I literally just had OW confirm this to me a moment ago as well.

Thank you everyone though for taking the time to test, I really appreciate it (as does the rest of the team)

When will calves be out?
I read on another server that the string of pearl interface will be the only way to pick the length of actions. Will this affect all servers?

Any news on promos coming out or they giving those a rest until everything is settled? Also, can someone bring foward the TC schedule of divines?

Calves are already out for Western ECs - they are bought from the store and are how the difficulty of Cutting Comps. is calculated (more calves = harder comp). They are not an actual thing that can be cared for.

As for Cows, same thing - they will be a crop you can buy that is put on your meadows.

No word on new promos or anything yet...my guess is that the Divines in the TCs is the current promotion (something small so as to not cause a lot of clutter with the new EC changes)

And I believe this is the schedule:

16.-17. February - Sleipnir
18.-19. Feb - Xanthos
20.-21. Feb - Croesus
22.-23. Feb - Balios

So, are all the divines coming up going to be coming in the Titan's Challenges?

As stated on Preprod:

Click to display
the Slider interface will be the only interface you can use for Feeding a horse (as it will allow for a visual representation of how much Fodder and Oats is being provided by the center:

The Blue is how much Fodder you get for free. In this case, very little.

In this case, you can see that the entire feeding is free thanks to the Center.

You will still be able to use the Drop down menu to select the length of time for other things - like Training, rides, etc.

It took me a moment to understand the new color in the slider default smiley xd I don't use the slider, so i guess i forgot that it's green when it's filled. Still, good news that we get free fodder still. So would the meadow sizes have a factor in this or amount of meadows?

I do believe that the Season Divines shall be heading towards the sales quiet soon. I believe Winter and Fall/Summer are first. (I know Winter is, forgot which one came with)

ShorahNagi said above that Western ECs have a bit of an advantage...is it possible to change your EC from classical to western?
By Retired breeder, 17th February 2015 16:03:51
Is there an exact date for the changes?

Yesss, goodbye, TCs, I'm saving up my passes for the season Divines!

yeah, does anyone know if the update will be in late February or in March?
For some reason my fields are bugged and not letting me do cows. Otherwise I'd tell you. Rains bonus is applied post harvest and shown in the office news feed.
