Can any of you all-powerful testers provide a detailed way of how cows work? Ex: how many do you buy, how long to mature, do you have to replace them/breed them, etc?

Basically, it is an option for the meadow. You simply open up "edit" for one of your meadows and "raising cows" becomes an option. From there, you have the choice between two cows. One that is cheaper that produces less leather [Bradford Cow] and one that is more expensive that produces more leather [Long-horned Cow].

It's not the hoped for UFO on Gypsum's page...but I still feel this screen shot of a UFO is worth sharing:

This Guy was running around the office of my Equestrian Center. As punishment for messing up the papers on my desk, he is now working as a 5-day Groom for my center on Preprod

Got to love the Employee UFOs default smiley :)

You know, I am just trying to imagibe if the world of Howrse was real. I would be out riding my froesian mare, and next thing I know, a tractor is flying through my EC. i would be screaming my head off. Butt, i am just glad its just a game. Imagibe if Horses where UFO's.

...Long, long ago - there was actually a promotion where there were UFO graphics drawn by players for a contest. When you caught the UFO - you won some sort of prize (sadly, I can not recall the prizes default smiley :()

These UFOs were all Halloween theme - I recall there was a Witch, a Bat, I think there was a Spider...and there was also a Ghost Horse.

Nothing like clicking to a page and there's this giant Ghost Horse 'running around' on it

If meadows are being removed from the game (default smiley :() will we be able to use more meadows fro growing crops? (as we're gonna need them to get fodder)

Meadows aren't being removed from the game. The action to put your horse in a meadow is. The meadows will stay so you can still grow crops.

I just realized something! If we are getting tractors for our meadows, then the drafts are going to be breedable! I feel like a kid who just figured out the hardest math problem!default smiley 8-)default smiley xd i hope I am right!
